Who was asking about the next issue of Cross Stitch Card Shop? I meant to say, my copy came through the door on Saturday so I would imagine it will be in the shops today/tomorrow.
today I got my first subscriber issue of Cross Stitch Crazy (trying to find a mag to replace Crosstitcher which I cancelled)
Let's have a lookie....
Free gift - Margaret Sherry booklet - 14 cute designs. I have seen some of these as cards in other mags, it's the back stitch which puts me off them (pity) so not for me.
Sweet Dreams (Country Companions) Nice design but too floral for my tastes.
Cross stitch quickie - I like these little fairy designs, I am trying to collect them all, I think they would be nice stitched on one piece of fabric with a pretty border. They woudln't take long either.
Charlie Chaplin - Unusual lol, won't stitch.
3D thread ideas - Different, quite like some of these, they would make great cards so I might try something new here.:D(Expensive thread though, £2.99 a pop so will need to be a special treat)
Heart and Home - Nice simple house design, pretty
Crazy for the weather - Hmmm, not too keen, Too cartoony
Xtra - Nice baby card designs
Recycling stitch - not for me
Fantasy Alphabet - ohhh, lovely. My DD would love these
Watering Cans - Meh.
Iphone Covers - Pretty cool actually, I would love one...but I have a Blackberry:rotfl:
Back to School - Stationery sets - I don't like them. Think one of those big felt pencil toppers would hinder a young child trying to write.
Challenge Lucie - Nothing there I would use, even for a card
I like the top tips on fitting in more stitching on the last page :rotfl:

Maria - its back now - or should be!!! I could blame the gremlins but it might have had something to do with be renaming things and having a bit of a tidy up.

I have decided and ordered Sleeping Beauty but not of the Disney variety. Will just have to sit back and wait for it to arrive now.

Managed to take my stitch to work today so was able to do a wee bit at lunch time - wondering should I put in a card or frame it. It is our 5th wedding anniversery and that is wood half thinking of framing it.
Kind wishes to all

I'm thinking Christmas (already) and stitching/ framing poems for family (hey cheap and chearful but well recieved). Tho I may only do the first 'verse' of them if they are too long.
Can anyone suggest any others am not really a poetry girl myself but i remember my mum used to have this on her wall so I know it would go down well.
I'll have a look tonight, but not optmistic as it was a few years ago (I did keep a box of every chart I stitched, but now tend to have a clear our every 2-3 years). I have found it online, it's by Lifetime Samplers Collection, though I could have sworn it was from a magazine such as cross stitch collection
