23rd - I think it's fantastic and the only small suggestion I would make is that the words 'Ian and Cate' should be perhaps 6 squares further to the left so it's central. (Also, have you considered doing them all the one colour so they stand out more?) I love the way you have shopped it onto a crosstitcher page :T

how about a "complete 13 challanges in 2013".

then you could mix cross stitch, cards, knitting, crochet etc.

After I posted that, I was thinking 13 instead lol
I think though if we included cards it should be 4 or 5 cards = 1 project?

I wondered if anyone else would notice! :o it's because I just worked with what was there and didn't move the spacing. (masked out the W, kept the I, switched the L to A, L to N. and switched her K for my C.
If we go with this idea I will make those changes.
i love it 23rd. You could easily print lots off and stick on front to make your own. print of wording inside and stick in.

We made all our own invites (antiqued scrolls - paper, tea and an italic pen).
order or service and menus were a5 cards with 3 pieces of confetti in each corner. italic wording on front, wording inside printed and stuck in.

will try and find a pic on facebook later for you...............grr they aren't on there. and the box is burried in the boys room.
Thanks Chicky, I'd love to see them. That's a good idea.

thanks Louise. I'll move them if we use it. I am SO glad I didn't just stitch it, as I wouldn't be able to make these changes!!

I learnt a lot about photoshop, I can do Layers now! Sadly I don't know how to change the colour without redoing it from scratch - I copied and pasted stitches from elsewhere to make the changes. Maybe someone could point me in the right direction?

23rd - I really like it. I would however, omit the crown, unless uber patriotic and make a bigger feature of the wedding bands, maybe include a trad tiered cake image instead of the flags and poss use solid colours for the names stick to red n' blue rotation for them. Eitherway I think it's fab! :)

The challenge sounds cool, remind me closer to the time, 13 seems appropriate. Right back to stitching, lots of backstitch at the mo, which still learning along with everything else :P

    A) The Nadal/Rosol match was SO amazing and
B)I didn't realise how much confetti stitch there was on this chart...ie. all of it!!:rotfl:

Ok have just caught up on yesterday - you have been busy.

Soulie - I like the idea of a thread for 13 challenges in 13 and agree that adding in other crafts would suit me best and possibly become achievable.

23rd - how clever are you!!!!! I'm really impressed with your photoshop chart. I have to agree with the others that unless you are very patriotic and planning to have a royal themed wedding I think I'd change the crown for a something else maybe wedding rings. Are you both from the UK? Seems a funny question but just thinking about flags, if you weren't you could use the flags from where you are from instead the 2 Union flags.

LancsLady - Love the Angel design that you posted yesterday. I did the same with the mother and baby design I sticthed and changed the beads for metallic thread, so much easier.

Off topic - off to my sons school now as they want to increase his music lessons from £18.50 per month to £42.00  He's studying for Grade 5 Tuba and has been told he could be professional if he puts his mind to it - emotional blackmail or what.

    morning all
love the wedding stitch 23rd, i think its brilliant how you have adapted it to suit your needs but i agree with the suggestions already made about centering the names and swapping the crown for a wedding cake, cant wait to see it stitched.
lancs lady your angel looks beautiful
i would join the 13 projects in 2013 if it was a thread on here as i dont 'do' facebook
Ailsb, agree with music lesson prices, just found a letter in DS bag saying after summer his teacher recommends private one2one lessons at £11.50 for 20 mins instead of the current 2 pupils sharing a lesson for £5 for 20 mins he has, its drum lessons and he has them because he enjoys them so im afraid hell be sticking with a shared lesson unless i win more than last weeks £11.60 on the euromillions.

been really busy this week mostly sorting stuff out for mil so my own house has suffered as a result today will be blitz my hovel day so after weve finished mils list of weekend chores i can hopefully do some well deserved stitching for me!
sunday is youngest DDs 20th so her and bf are round for dinner,

    have a good weekend all

Well I've sorted out a few holiday projects into a pile - now I just need to decide what I fancy stitching!

The projects I have picked include the following: -

    * Cross Stitch Card Shop Snail card - already stitched previously so going to restitch using variegated threads

    * Margaret Sherry Snail kit - featured in Cross Stitcher Magazine also in the Margaret Sherry Bookazine

    * Small kipper (the dog) kit - free with cross stitcher many moons ago

    * Newton bear in bed kit with written on the duvet (don't want to go to bed/dont want to get up) or similiar - featured in World of Cross Stitching Mag. PS WOXS Bring back Newton!

    * The beside the sea kit (free cross stitcher magazine kit ).

Hmmm I don't think I will have any excuse to move from my sofa ......
