Evening all,
Woke up this morning a felt absolutely awful - I have finally sucumbed to the dreaded lurgy which DH has had for the past month.
Have done some xstitch but not able to concentrate on it for too long and each time I sneeze I either miss the hole or stab myself with the needle.
Love your pics flowersofscotland - I would love to do the Christmas Sampler sometime.
Take care everyone

I used to go every year but haven't been recently as there was too much card making and not enough stitching to justify the cost fore me. I love all kinds of stitching including patchwork and quilting so there are other shows I would rather go to but it's very much a personal preference. There is a list of exhibitors on the site which gives a good feel for the range of stalls. I love the workshops and always try to book on at least 1 and I have never not enjoyed a day at a show.
I have had a look what they offer at this show and I think that I will give it ago anyway. I am interesting in maybe starting to make jewellery. Does anyone know if I need to book the lessons before hand or on the day while I am there?
Its a shame that they arent more shows near me, they all seem to be down southand I would have to travel anyway.

Apologies if this is the wrong forum for such a request but my good lady Wife is looking for a pattern called "in her Garden " she doesn't want the kit, says she's got all the threads (I personally want to trim the collection down, but what do I know), she just wants the pattern.
Is anyone able to help, again apologies is the wrong forum / thred just thought would give it a shot to surprise my wife.
Can't find the chart anywhere tho I am SURE someone on here has stitched it (looks *louise*'y to me).
BUT at around £25 delivered it's a bargain for the kit from ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HER-GARDEN-DIMENSIONS-GOLD-X-STITCH-KIT-35119-/200690386919?pt=UK_Crafts_CrossStitch_RL&hash=item2eba1447e7loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -
Apologies for being a bit away with the fairies but can't remember if I have said Happy New Year and hopefully a good new year for us all.
So many UFOs and so little time, but the Xmas break finally meant my brain and batteries got recharged and I feel human again.
So need to start by finishing the MP bookmark adn then get to work on the dreaded parrots whilst trying to get a latchhook rug started.
Thankfully at least most of it is portable so I can take it with me when I go away....
Have some lovely patterns (x-stitch and actually some sewing) for xmas, and I promise to look thru my stash next time someone is looking for soemthing. (Helps if you can read spanish though - if anyone knows where I can get stitchy stuff in Spain I would love to know)
Loved all the xmas makes they are lovely determined to get next year a fully stitched Xmas so much so refuse to buy anything in the sale until somethign completed.:(0 -
