Hi ladies.
So many update pics since I was last logged in and they all look great!
I took an update pic myself today but there's not been much done in the last month so no point posting it:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -

and I've also done her original ABC which I made into a cushion (may do the same with the Christmas one and bring it out just for Christmas)

Those are absolutely gorgeous!augustsmummy wrote: »Louise - my GP suggested a sleep technique that is supposed to help with clearing your mind so you can sleep. I am happy to share it with you if you promise not to laugh at me.
You tell your thoughts to f*** off. (You have to swear for it to work I am affraid). As each thought comes in to your head say it loudly and the thought should go away.
I sometimes have songs in my head when I'm trying to get to sleep and so I have a big wooden chest in my head - I push each song into the chest and shut it. If it starts to poke out again, I push it back in and that usually does itpostingalwaysposting wrote: »Last update ~

Afternoon ladies, Lovley pics, not really done much on mine in the last week:(
Hugs to all who are poorly hope the doctors sort you out with test results soon.
Had joshuas party on Saturday and all was fine 22 boys turned up and all of them were very well behaved and I hope hey all had a brilliant time.
Talking of not sleeping went to bed at 10 last night and finally got to sleep at half 3 this morning tried telling my thoughts to **** off but they wouldn't listen, so today I'm knackered .
Day one of giving up smoking today, got my trusty patch on and its not bothering me to much at all
Daughter has declared that it is time to start thinking about her party now, she is having a making party, so I have said her,her cousin and 8 friends ( girls !) So that is a total of 10, now has anyone got any ideas what sort of things they can make? The idea is that what ever they take home, and I'm thinking 10 different activities, I know its not cross stitch but any ideas? Oh I should have said they will all be around the age of 6

Maria.... is she a particularly girli girl or more tom boy. because I have always found making fairy wands works brilliantly and you can theme the party around this... however be warned of glitter.I Love My Library....when I finish/don't like a book, no one gets upset when I return it!Starting 2107lbs this month = 5.5Total loss = 5.5Too many UFOs to count:EasterBun0

You could make fairy hats and wings too - if you wanted a variety of ideas. Google must have instructions....!!! <wanders off to look>0

Loving all the progress pics. I'm surprised how many of you seem to start your designs from an outer corner rather than the middle. I have thought of doing this but I just know I would misplace the design and end up running out of material somewhere.

draw some stars on card - at 6 they should be able to cut out themselves or you can for ease.
put beads, glitter, pens, feathers etc on table with glue.
let them go mad.
stick a lolly stick (prob need a couple taped together to get length) on the back with sellotape.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
repeat with crowns - but all you really need for a base of this is a long strip of card that will fit around head.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
blank pictures of people to colour in as kings/ queens/ princesses?
