Phew.
I feel slightly better now :rotfl:0 -
Dorastar have you stitched for love quilts uk before? That is something I really wanted to do this year, Im thinking I will start with an any child square and go from there. Good luck with the toy story search.
xx
Have only managed one so far but have put down on my list of things to do that I will try and do some this year. There is only one quilt open at the moment for toy story but will do another any child one if I can't find one.Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

I didn't even realise it said Joy until everyone else commented
I never could do those magic eyes either though :rotfl:
Love the Christmas Lizzie Kate one flowerofscotland.
Edit: Louise - thanks for the advice about the marker pen. I keep considering it as I know a lot of you ladies on here really recommend them, but my fear of washing my stitching always stops me going for it. When I was originally on the forum last year I ended up trying to wash a piece for the first time and some stitches pulled out of the aida (I tested it on an old bit, so I didn't wreck anything decent!).
I wonder if its because I don't secure my thread tightly enough? How does everyone else secure the ends? I usually tuck it through the back of the two nearest stitches, perhaps I should do something else.Cross Stitch Cafe member no.800 -

Thank you but it's the designer that is clever not me (M Designs). Here's one I prepared earlier - this one says Faith

It stopped the day I broke up from work for the holidays, so I have to assume it was work stress. You've got stuff on your mind though haven't you - so you're bound to be worrying. Have you tried relaxation music to help you nod off again when you wake up in the night?
Yeah that's usually it, I had a CD which I used to listen to at nights and it was great for clearing my mind but the flipping kids borrowed the player and 'lost' my disc  I ordered a new one at 6am this morning lol so hopefully that will arrive soon.augustsmummy wrote: »Louise - my GP suggested a sleep technique that is supposed to help with clearing your mind so you can sleep. I am happy to share it with you if you promise not to laugh at me.
You tell your thoughts to f*** off. (You have to swear for it to work I am affraid). As each thought comes in to your head say it loudly and the thought should go away.

It's worth a go.I do sometimes end up texting myself a list of stuff to get it off my mind so I imagine that would work in a similar way.
Once the schools start back on Mon I will get back into my routine and it should get better then:)Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219.
