wow, I love the new and updated pictures. The christmas ones are rally cute.
Thanks for letting us know about the pen marks. I have only just started to use them on the bigger projects. I have always finished a smaller project and not needed a marker pen. I will have to finish the ones with the pen on so I can wash it off sooner rather than later.

Love to see it coming together now, the darker shades really helps. The first two pages are nearly done :T Decided on the Michael Powel bookmark for my friend. That needs doing after this one and then it is back to London to try and get that finished asap.

I haven't done any recently However I am currently just finishing some questions I have to submit for a short open uni course in a few weeks, so as soon as I'm happy with them I intend to do some stitching. I am starting another short course at the end of Feb though, so I might not have long!

Been working a lot over Christmas too - did overtime today as well but I would think it will start to quieten down a bit in the next few weeks, so hopefully I might feel a bit more like doing something.

Hello all!

It has been aaaaaaages since I last posted - I do try and keep up with the thread, but it seems that by the time I've finished reading, I never have time to post. So I'll take this chance to send huge hugs to everyone who needs or would like them.

I've not done a huge amount of sewing recently - at least, not larger projects. I did make a lot of keyrings before Christmas. Plans for this year are to finish my cinnamon cat 'home sweet home' picture, and I would like to make a gingerbread afghan for my mum for Christmas this 2012. . With that in mind: has anyone ever used the country designs website? (can't add a link, as I'm on hubby's iPad and no idea how to do it!). They're the only uk site which stocks the afghan I would like to use, but I'm always wary about buying from a new website, so if anyone has any reviews of the site that would be great. . I've been crocheting again too, and am most of the way through a baby blanket for a soon-to-be neice or nephew, and have another on the way in march so need to make for them too. I think I might like to make a bedspread size blanket for my mil for Christmas too, so will keep busy!

I promise to try and post more often this year.

I've never bought from them, but I know they've been advertising in the stitching magazines for a very long time, so I'd trust them.

I've been buying things from this company for years - mainly US magazine subscriptions but I did buy an afghan a few years ago. I have spoken to them on the phone as well as using the website and have never had anything other than good service. They have an offer of a free kit if you spend over a certain amount in January.

tried to post last night but puter was playing up and i couldnt see what i was trping for soome reason. it seems fine this morning but DS was doing loads of stuff in other windows and id popped on quickly so think maybe too much open

everyones updates look fantastic i love all the photos. i finished gorguss over the weekend ive just got to wash it sew the button on and decide what frame to use.

any ideas its my sisters wedding anniversary on 29th feb so she does't get to celebrate as often as the rest of us trying to think if to do a standard anni card or do they do leap year type designs anywhere? thank you

because once thats done I can start working out which ones of my friends requests I can do also.
