b_e_g23rdspiral - your version of the Will and Kate wedding sampler will be lovely, and as they say if people don't like it then it's their problem. We are all different and it would be a boring world if we weren't.
Off to Decathlon this morning then stitching this afternoon. Have fun everyone. :j
Thanks both of you. I've talked with OH and he also thinks it will suit the feel of our wedding, we are having a vintage tea party! I want to swap the crown for something else though. So I will stitch it, but don't have any even weave 28count, can anyone recommend an online shop please?
Aislb - how did the decathlon go? But sorry you were unable to go due to family circumstance.
I'm feeling very under the weather today. Finally got OH's odd illness I think. Red Dwarf on Dave and stitching then. I've finished the crafty fox:j and have begun a wedding sampler for my friend. The blocky church bit is fine for my concentration level!
It's this one: http://uk.ebid.net/for-sale/so-sews-cross-stitch-card-kit-wedding-church-58514241.htm#pic
it's perfect for my friend, whose a bell ringerbut it only cost me 79p from a shop sale so I feel I should buy her something else as well.

None stitch related. My nephews wife that is due to have her baby June is in labour:eek: Her waters broke last wednesday and she had been in slow labour since, although the hospital say that it's likely to be today. She is 36 weeks tomorrow so we know that the baby will need to go into neonatal - still scarey though. I've been busy finishing the knitting for the blanket I am making but don't want to sew it up until I know everything is okay
Hope all is going well.It looks like this
Flat Eric, i was disgusted by what the RSPCA did with that man's home and land, the poor animals
Wow that brought back a whole heap of memories - very sad it didn't come to anything but it did make me feel part of something for that short time.blue_eyed_girl wrote: »As soon as I saw pic sweetcarer - I thought of you - before I had even seen your name on the post. Am I getting good
Very good BEG!
Trying so hard to sort out finances so we can afford one. I have such a stitchy bug going but nothing to do expect my work one. Really should drive down to my parents some time and pick up what magazines survived fire and sort them all out. I have been so exhausted at the weekends and I have been bringing work home.
I know I have a box of stitching there too - with some free kits and some kits - some I think I have gone off or were presents that I don't really like (need to do an EB some day). I even have a long stitch my sister got me for xmas - you can tell she doesn't know me as its all in long stitch - she said I knew you would love it as you do stitching all the time - err a wee bit different.
I have been working on the mother moon by JE. By that I mean I am changing the way the bottom looks as I am not too fussed on the bottom half.
Well keep well girls, kind wishes
sweetcarer:j cross stitch forever, housework whenever :j0 -
hugs to you and yours Ailsb, special gentle prayers for your little niece
love all the photo updates and hope everyone is enjoying their stitchy weekendSPC~12 ot 124

Back again to try and catch up with you all.
Aneres - love Happy House.
AM - looking forward to seeing Newton grow
FE - love vintage design
Mags-cat - good start with Hard Frost. Doesn't it seem strange looking at wintry scenes now yet they weren't that far away and before we know it they will be back again. Good luck with your stitching. Looking forward to seeing Tenby framed.
FOS - Fantastic fabric for cushion. Looking forward to seeing end result.
23rd - hearts are soo pretty.
Sweetcarer - hope you have some good news soon re finances. I'm just plodding on with the free kits atm with things being tight financially and time. Have some fabric so I thought I might try and do some cards that I may be wanting during the year and use whatever threads I have. Thought this might scratch my stitchy itch and be good for the pennies.
Have spent weekend stripping - wallpaper that is and trying to declutter our existing built in 1970's wardrobes (not started on clothes bit yet) as we will be replacing them with some new freestanding modern ones very soon. Wont be able to hide as much 'stuff' in them as the old ones - its amazing how much stuff you gather over the years.
Won't get much done this week as I've got one of those weeks where you have to be in several different places all at the same time.
That's enough prattling from me for one night - off to watch BGT and Corrie.
Take care everyone
