morning all happy bank holiday!! its not raining at the moment but we'll see!!

can you believe i actually picked up a neddle last night! first time in ages and managed to get a lot more done than i thought i would really pleased with how much i got done and the bug is definatly back!

Aneres - sorry it's taken me a while to answeryour question about the fabric. Yes it's in one piece. i think I', going to start on the left hand side and see what I think when I get to the place to devide. If I feel I want 3 separate pictures then I'll cut then. I have a frame that I can wrap the fabric around whilt I am stitching. Hoping to start it in the week.

23rdspiral - your version of the Will and Kate wedding sampler will be lovely, and as they say if people don't like it then it's their problem. We are all different and it would be a boring world if we weren't.

catwoman - I've often thought about trying for one of the Polstitches grab bags. FOS - I am have to look for their sale on your recommendation.

Mags_cat - ditto FOS "don't forget to let us see Tenby when back from the framers". frost is coming along lovely.

Flat Eric - I haven't stitched a Bothy Thread design - YET!!! I l love this Vintage kit and have also contemplated the KIngs and Queens of England one. I do wish they would sell charts as well as kits, might email and suggest this.

nmm - what does the faiytale ABC look like - keep reading and you'll find out why I ask.

FOS - your Diamond Jubilee cushion is coming along a treat and the fabric will set it off lovely. I haven't made any of my designs into cushions, may have to try it at some point.

None stitch related. My nephews wife that is due to have her baby June is in labour:eek: Her waters broke last wednesday and she had been in slow labour since, although the hospital say that it's likely to be today. She is 36 weeks tomorrow so we know that the baby will need to go into neonatal - still scarey though. I've been busy finishing the knitting for the blanket I am making but don't want to sew it up until I know everything is okay.

Have also finished the cross stitch on the dragon toasting marshmallow, only the backstitch to go. It's been a slog but I can now see that it was worth it.

Off to Decathlon this morning then stitching this afternoon. Have fun everyone. :j

nmm - thanks for posting a picture, the alphabet is lovely but I feel more appropriate for a girl.

My niece had a little boy at 8.45am but he is VERY poorly, in neonatal intensive care, they still haven't seen him. So I am going to hang on with any stitching until we know how he is doing. PG he will be okay.
