They can be read as individual books, but there is a bit of a sub-plot, so better to read in order...
My pictures are in order (i think).0 -
Speaking of sets and series, was just minding my own business browsing 1-2-3-stitch for Father's Day stuff when I came across the design that polstitches was out of stock of;
snow garden
Yay, so I thought...
...until I discovered its actually part of a series of 12 parts that make up a sampler of 15 panels
Now of course I want them all! Will have to start hinting for an early birthday present I think :rotfl:
Glad your kit finally arrived aneres!
Still undecided on the Father's day cards... of the designs my favourite is now the Bent Creek (was no. 1 i think) but it's a bit big for a card! Would have to try 25ct over 1 thread or use fine linen...
Will think on it for a bit, thanks to everyone for your thoughts on it!Cross Stitch Cafe Challenger No. 26 :hello:XStitch to do list:-- Birth Sampler -- Christmas Angel -- Mum's Xmas Stitch -- Christmas decs 3 & 4 -- Xmas Bird ---- Snowflake Sonata -- Be Jolly -- JE Unicorn -- Start HAED!!! --0 -
they look lovely sk00bie
skim reading the quilt thread i can see why some of the more long serving members of the cafe are wary of newcomers or people offering too much too soon that seem to be too good to be true.
love the update photos
havent done any stitching last night or today as i 'aquired' a piano so have spent all morning playing extreme furniture tetris to try and fit it in. i have earned some major stitching time over the weekend while i rest my aching backSPC~12 ot 124

On the subject of acquiring things & having to rearrange furniture, it looks like I won't be getting much stitching done in the near future. We have a wonderful new distraction in our house...
My husband found her on Sunday and we took her to the vets. She's probably a feral they think and she's about 6 weeks old. We are totally in love with her and even though we were not planning on getting a kitten, I think she may well be here to stay. We've been giving her loads of love & attention and she's such a lovely kitten. Currently she's on the frog bean bag 'hunting' it's crown...lol!
Here's a few more pics if anyone wants to see. http://s917.photobucket.com/albums/ad11/Honey_4/

ours was a rescue cat and we were told to keep him in for i think 2 months so he knew this was his home.
spay flea and worm regularly
lots of cuddles and fun-- our cat was never a playful cuddly cat but most are, he would ignore us except when hungry but leapt on guests knees purring like hed never been stroked beforeSPC~12 ot 124

My two were rescues... I was told to keep them in for 2 weeks, but they escaped two days after I brought them home.
I just left the front door open and home they came :-)
My advice... cat flap!!!
Cuddles are lovely after a bad day at work :-) enjoy your new baby xx0 -
Thanks girls! I promise I will bore you all senseless with photos and tails of her antics. She's called Blossom because we found her by a big puddle with lots of cherry blossom petals floating in it.
As she's only 6 weeks old, she won't be venturing outside for a while yet. The vet sprayed her with flea spray and gave her worming medicine and we're going back to talk to them this weekend about future injections and medical care (must get insurance too!). She's eating well and drinking her kitten milk nicely. As she's now fast asleep on the 'perch' (suitcase with pillow on top) and not bothered by the sound of me typing, I think she's getting used to us and trusting that we won't hurt her. She's a chatty little girl too! Last night she climbed onto the computer desk and let me stroke her and pick her up for a moment without any prompting. But there goes all my stitching time...:)Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27
