Wow!

I used the Enchanted needle site in the end. Wendy was brilliant - she kept in touch throughout - obviously hand winding 440+ bobbins isn't an over night job!

Mum and Dad paid for half as my birthday present (yes...I know...I'm spoilt! :rotfl:) and two of my friends are giving me money towards it too as it's something I wanted. Saves them looking for a present!

I need to pick your brains yet again ladies, does anyone have any ideas for a Father's Day card or even small picture to give for Father's Day? I know it's a while away but my Dad is away at the moment and I'm not sure when I'll see him next. So I'd like to send him something a bit special... Do they do Dad samplers? :rotfl:

Problem is he's not really into the normal manly/Dad things like golf, footy or gardening in fact he's not really into any sports

Maybe sailing or horse racing at a push? lol He likes his computers and photography, and a drink now and again.

Help?! Any suggestions gratefully received

mags - Great value for money, glad you got it delivered safely, that's how I keep all my threads, it's a great system - you will now find your only problem is that when you see a design you love you will be annoyed at having to buy a kit if they don't do it as a chart only...it irks when you have all the threads just sitting there :rotfl:

mags wow beautiful, you really are set up to stitch anything now.

i did my dad a tractor stitch a couple of years ago in a little frame. i noticed when we went down this year it was out on display gain with his cards. (i had stitched 'happy birthday Dad' underneath)

Finished the AOY card (apart from making it up) and started the cover kit that came with Card Shop today. I guess there is going to be a drastic shortage of one of the colours and I've only just started it. Seems to be a regular ocurrence these days :mad:

Gave friend her tulips pic yesterday and she really loved it and when I called today she had it up on her kitchen wall and she seemed quite chuffed with it.

Well I think thats me done for the night now. Have started playing a scrabble type game on my phone in an attempt at giving the old brain cells a bit of a work out and so far I would say its not working but heres hoping.
