  • Glad you are home AM and here's to a speedy recovery

Phone call from the doctors today, they want to see me Friday but wouldn't say why, so frustrating!

I like the Bothy Threads alphabet kit posted above although actually I would prefer to stitch the motifs - not the alphabet which get in the way!

OH is watching football but I am not in the mood for cross stitch. Was a tedious day at the office and I have just been in the loft looking for my boiler handbook as our service is due in a couple of weeks. Of course, I can't find it! although I do have my Domestic/General service agreement so hoping that will suffice.

I really feel like I need a break from the office. A major sort out/tidy up is needed in my house but there are never enough hours at the weekend. I am usually so tired but I don't want to waste holiday having odd days as you spend more time stressing and catching up so having just a day is never worth it.

Would love for somone to sort all my cross stitch magazines! Think I might have to start doing a couple of mags a day. I don't like to chop them up but feel I will be outgrown by my mags soon!

Is it worth spending the effort and expense of putting them in pockets - silly question really. It would be easier just to get some of those punch hole reenforcers but you can bet where the holes get punched, would knock out some stitching detail.

I really think so. IMO hole reinforcers are a bit of a faff, but the plastic will protect them and keep them longer. Imagine if there was a spillage - the whole folder could be ruined.

Brednall. Nice progress on both pieces of stitching.

Littlemonkey. Link worked. I really like the design so far.

Skoobie. Love the monsters, coming on really quickly.

Louise. Nice progress, can't wait to see her finished!

FE. You could get a few charts in each of the plastic pockets if storage is an issue. I store my charts in a plastic document wallet, it will hold more than a pocket that goes in a folder. I think I last got a pack of 5 from poundland.
