Thanks for your comments peeps! Can you offer me some inspiration too please? I have lots of kits in my stash (although not as many as I thought when I actually sorted it yesterday!!) but I would like to stitch something for my childrens bedrooms. My DD is 2 and my son will be 1 in June so a bit past the birth sampler maybe. I thought about doing their names in one of the alphabets from a mag or an alphabet sampler? What do you think?

Hope everyone is staying dry today - can't wait to see more update pics soon too

    Emma

I love the alphabet suggestions especially if you made them into names. Another idea is a height chart. Here is a fun one if you wanted to do one chart for both children. But if you put "height" into the search there are a couple of pages of suggestions. And I know that there have been charts in magazines on this subject though I can't help with when.

    Hi ladies.

FOS. Really like the millenium sampler, can appreciate the work that's gone into it. Love the keep calm, I need one of those for tea drinking! Imagine is coming along great.

    .

Thank you - most of the work was actually done in 1999/2000 but I had a dreadful end to 2000 and stitching was abandoned!. I feel quite positive that I was able to finish the sampler without it bringing back unhappy memories.

I think I have seen a Keep Calm and Have a Cuppa or similar but it may just be in my imaginaton :)
  • Thank you to everyone who commented on my recent update.

Louise - can't wait to see your first update pic

Emma - Home Sweet Home is looking lovely

First update on Circe the Sorceress - 4 evenings stitching...there is some gold left at the bottom which still needs to be 'reverse stitched' - you can see it's a lot thicker than the gold on her top.
