Thanks for all you comments about the cats :) The gold isn't as bad as some I've used but there is a lot of it so it's taking a while!!

No stitching for me either since Saturday :(

Was far too tired last night after being out all day for Mum's birthday and been busy at work with meetings so no stitching at lunch today!

The good news is my threads arrived yesterday so I'll finish charting the sign later and get a move on!

And woo hoo pay day tomorrow, going to order my polstitches fabric for the Unicorn and Imagine and maybe a couple of other goodies too... Hopefully won't spend too much

Will be thinking of you augustmummy, hope all goes well with the OP.

And hope you get your stitchy day tomorrow Ailsb.

Everyone is a bit quiet - does that mean you are all busy stitching? :D

I should be so lucky Louise. Just got back from finishing Mams decorating and putting everything straight for her. I'm absolutely whacked now - I think even my hands are too tired to hold fabric and needle. Did manage to complete the xstitches early this morning so I've just got backstitching to do now. Hopefully I will be able to get out later in the week to get frame and will post a pic when its all done.

Good luck with op AM and hope your toothache doesn't last too long.

Hope you get your stitchy day Ailsb.

    Oh you will!!!

I looked at their site and added a few bits I 'loved' to my basket - went to check out and it was sitting at £65  I was good and didn't buy it though! (that's when I found Circe instead) :o

More non stash money being spent here - DD got a place at the local Ballet group, and starts next week- I have found all her uniform pieces plus shoes online for £45 :money: She is really excited and will look so cute :happyhear

I was up till 1am this morning doing work related stuff and have promised myself that tonight is all about stitching (except when I check the forum of course) :D - kids will be in bed by 8 and I will have 4 hours to work on my medieval lady :j

Sweetcarer - your blue sampler is coming along a treat, I really like it. Whats the finished design like (sorry if you have posted it and I've missed it).

Here is part one - I am changing the wording slightly - so it says both the month and what flower it is.

Only stopping to post this and away to check FB and an early night.

    Kind wishes to all

Sweetcarer- I think I may have this pattern lurky somewhere. I think it's really and really effective with the white on blue.

    Morning all

Good to see you are all progressing well with your designs. Seems ages since I did any stitching. Been a bit under the weather for over a week now and a bit down in the dumps too - life as a full time mummy is not proving to be all its cracked up to be!! Just can't get my head around no work any more.

Anyway, been sorting out some of my older magazines and listing some of the charts on fleabay - sold some already but quite time consuming putting all the info on as I think it is important to give as much info as possible like the designer, size etc. I know some people collect certain designers work so they may search under that do you think. Some listings seem to have very little information.

Hope to get some stitching done later on my Home Sweet Home sampler as I would like to get that up on the wall. THought it would be a simple design but taking longer than I thought.

Have a great day everyone - just started to rain heavily here again GREAT!!

  • Morning brednall I always hate it when there isn't enough info on eBay, I like to know what I'm buying! Well got a phone call from the hospital asking me to go in for my tests yesterday, mri was horrible, but all tests came back fine so that is one less worry. Hopefully the letters i have been waiting for will come today and this will be a good week !
