Love the charts you have selected - our tastes are very similar.
I have just started the Imagine design. The thread colours are not quite what I expected - brighter and more green but very effective. All the fabrics you have picked out are lovely. My preference is Delicate Roses though Summer Breeze would also work well. Not sure about Heavenly due to the turquoise shades against the thread colours. Just my opinion. I've just spotted a new fabric on there which I love "cobblestones" but must resist.

If I end up buying anything from that site today I shall have to blame you :D

Thanks for these ladies, I think I'll go for summer breeze... I picked out 'heavenly' and nearly 'fireworks' because of the green & turquoise as 2 of the other designs in the series have more green in them and I was imagining doing the whole set on the same fabric. But it's very unlikely that I'll ever do them so I'll get the 'summer breeze' fabric. :)

I accept no responsibility for any purchases you may make though :D Note that if you did order they are out of the office until next Monday so maybe that will put you off ordering!

I got my WOXS too, seemed to have subscribed to that at some point... ooops again :rotfl:

I'm the same as you Louise and nothing really appeals from this issue.
Milton the bear, the flower cards, the teacup shelf and the blocks are might stitches for the future and I'll probably do the AOY card for my stash. To be honest I'm a bit disappointed with the butterfly after the Unicorn, it's too art deco (?) for me and I don't get the waving cards thing at all. :P

    Welcome to the cafe Cosmopolitan!

BobbisMummy. Nice progress, is it a Noahs Ark?

23rd. Sorry to read about your cousin :(

  • So sorry for your loss 23rd spiral. :( My thoughts are with you and your family.

I got back from the dentist a couple of hours ago, and I am in agony. DH ventured out to the chemist and got me what the pharmasist called "the good stuff" which eased it for about an hour :(. Trouble is I am not supposed to have NSAIDs - like ibuprofen/diclofenac, due to my tummy, but I have had to as the pain is that bad!

I am not feeling up to stitching, so I guess Kipper and the ducks will have to wait till I am home and well.

I got my issue of WOXS too, and was not at all impressed to find they have gotten rid of Newton's law :mad:and replaced it with IMO a not very cute mouse.
Also am I the only one who did not like those "waving cards"?

I think I will unsubscribe from it. The only thing I liked was the building blocks, and it is not worth £2 for just that one chart.

    Loving the update Bobbismummy :).

Maria - Glad to hear all the results have come back ok.

Thank you for all your well wishes. Suppose I better think about packing soon...

so i still cant get the enthusiasum to pick up my lady again and as we might be moving soon there is no rush, because she wont be going where i wanted her to anyway (if we do move!!) think i need to wait for the iron tablets to take effect as the anemia is making me so tired

WOXS also uninspiring for me this month. Free kit ok and have started (got delayed the other day on my commute to work) Gutted no newton law bear. other than that, nothing in the mag that I really want to stitch. suppose thats a good thing.

Waiting for cross stitch card shop to drop through my door now. Hope I get it in time for the weekend.
