Mrs M - that tortoise is just lovely, and trog is cute, I don't know anyone who has one, are they not quite difficult to buy? I stitched that Gorjuss for my sisters 30th last year, it looks great.

Happens to me too!
The other day I was looking for the proper name of the mice on the bike I stitched a couple of years ago and whilst in the cupboard I thought I'd have a look at my stash of kits.
A couple of them I just looked at and thought 'Whatever made you buy that?!?'
I know though that in a few more months I'll probably love them again

we got him as a baby out of a small ad in the paper (Hes about 6 years old now)- they have to have papers to proove they were bred here not smuggled in. a shop in our town sells them all the time so must be a local breeder somewhere.

Louise - I'm sure you've decided but I vote for Circe, knowing how fast you stitch It's hard, I struggled to give up Durham but knowing that there was something I'd rather stitch was driving me crazy!

I've just ordered my fabric etc from polstitches, I went with summer breeze as you suggested, can't wait for it to arrive!

:rotfl:ive got 5 children of my own i dont think i could cope with or afford to buy any more of those.
tortoises are definately easier, they eat their greens without moaning, go into their bedrooms as soon as you turn the light out dont answer back and sleep all winter so they miss christmas:D

There is no hope for me...

went to Sew and So to get the beads for my Unicorn and suddenly my basket is sitting at £25+ :eek:

How did that happen?

Problem solved mum just reminded me its my brothers birthday and I have a little fishing sampler so I'm gona do that for him, something very straight forward
