    Evening ladies

After sorting out my stitching supplies, I have found quite a few decent size off-cut pieces of Aida. I was wondering if anyone would be able to make use of them. I think most of it is 14ct but there may be the odd bit of others counts too.

Please PM me if you are interested.

    Regards

I'm finally back from the inlaws so HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!

Have caught up and have to say that everyones pics are really getting me motivated again (except for Louise who is just too quick!!!!!).

I took my Rene Mack stitching and actually got some done as we had a quiet New Years Day and also got delayed on one of todays trains home (looking at the news tonight we were lucky!).

Going to head off soon as the football is on soon but I'm making it one of my resolutions to try and keep up with everyone on here again and not go missing in action for months on end like last year.

Oh, one last question - just realised my 5 for £5 has finished as I've not had WOXS through the door. Is it worth paying full price for this month?

This sums up just what I was thinking :rotfl: If only I had Louise's speed!!

I'm not sure if I bothered to post a pic of Sunset on the old thread, but if I did I'm basically back where I was! After all my unpicking the aida looks a mess but I'm feeling more positive now about getting on with it :) I'll sort a pic tomorrow anyway.
in other news dreeding Saturday, my sons 8th birthday party 27 boys playing football!
27  you must be very brave! Hope it goes well. My son has suggested a football party (his birthday isn't til July, but once Xmas ends he gets straight into birthday mode!), I'll be trying to bribe him with other ideas though :D

So cute! I love how textured he looks, is it really all just like doing backstitch fancily?

No stitching here tonight. Too tired. Only got 3hrs sleep, due to someone's alarm going off  work today was a struggle.

So it turns out whilst i was awake all night sleep elluding me, Uncle George was facing his own final struggle with the veils. Sleep soundly George, and pass on my love to Aunt Joan; reunited at last. RIP Uncle George Ellis xxx

So Ive extended my Peace deadline to 12th night. Either that or it will become a WIp to come out again for Christmas in July :o

Yes I suppose it is 23rd but I think it does look quite effective.

Hope you manage to catch up on your rest tonight. Sometimes I feel as though I get too tired to sleep - just read that bit again and it sounds quite crazy. :rotfl:

    Take care

  • I've not been around over Christmas and New Year, but i have been stitching and knitting :T
My new start on Boxing Day was LHN Milicent Turner, loving how quick this is stitiching up! Still can't show any photos as i'm a Newbie.

It was my birthday over the holiday, (the BIG 5 O!!) and a stitchy bloggy friend suprised me with a gift certificate of $25 to an online store - stitchers are so kind and thoughtful :)

I got a suprise email to asking me to do a review of a cross stitch kit on my blog, i got the choose a kit, it will be sent to me free of charge and have been asked to review the contents of the chart, threads etc, how cool is that! I have chosen a chart called Chat Noir, it reminded me of when me and my girls went to Paris a couple of years ago and we kept seeing Chat Noir everywhere!

    Have a great day x

  • *louise* thats lovely. :T Thats quick work. Thought I was quick, but not that quick. What kind of frame are you using to hold your aida together? Is it a plastic frame. Is it better than using a wooden hoop on small/ med projects.

Flat Eric thats coming along. :T I like your new project of taking pics everyday. I bet that you will get sick of it though when you are half way through.

blue_eyed_girl lovely cute little owl. :T I dont know if I could do that might have to learn more first.

I havent done any stitching over the last couple of days, as its been so dark during the day and night. I have taken my xmas tree down and cut up some of my cards for tags next year.

I need to find out how to do french knots first before I carry on stitching, might and google it and see if there is any video out there for me to look at.

Hi everyone, sorry I've been absent over the holidays - had a horrendous stomach bug (nourovirus - not sure how to spell it but it sounds like 'bleuch'...), so happy new year to everyone :D

I got a floor stand for Christmas, plus a chart holder and a helping hands thing - pointed everything out on the website for OH, so I'm starting to do my stitching again.
