*Louise*, Maia have designed a couple of other smaller kits similar to African Horizon, Elephant Silhouette and Giraffe Silhouette. I have lots of empty wall space, i think all 3 would look great together. I just spotted this one too Savannah Sundown oh, i want them all :rotfl:
Ohhh your post should come with a warning sign!!:rotfl:
I can now picture the African Horizon in the middle, the elephant silhouette on the left and the giraffe one on the right, all in black frames................:o
The downside is that they are £20 each.....for a 5x5 design which I think is rather expensive, especially when you add the other costs it would be £65 then framing on topCross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Sorry i am just so happy :rotfl: Whilst searching for the maia charts i stumbled across a chart i've been drooling over for years My wolfy Beautiful Dreamer. I never bought it as it cost £40-£50 for the complete kit, but now i have the chart, i can buy the fabric and threads for around £20 i can't wait to get started. Going to do the design on 16ct aida so i can get away with a fat quarter as its a perfect fit.Cross Stitch Cafe Member No1WIP: Cross Stitch: - Crochet:0 -
Lancs-Lady - thanks for saying you will post when you receive yours, I ordered a couple of days after you so this should give me advance notice of its arrival.
FlowersofScotland - off topic, but I love your quilt. Going to get started on mine tomorrow, have the day off and can't wait.
Nmm - love the silhouettes but as Louise says they are lots of money. I'm sure I've seen something similar in a book or magazine will have to have a look and report back.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

Thanks for letting me know - I couldn't remember who the other person was that ordered one. I'm getting itchy fingers waiting as I don't want to start something new so just plodding along with a UFO which I'm not that enthusiatic about finishing.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

Thanks
You have to use PayPal but you can use a card with PayPal as a "guest" so you don't have to have a PP account
What are you planning to buy? I love their fabrics0 -
PAP - is he a dinosaur or a dragon? I think he looks like a dragon but you've called him dino so I'm not sure. He is really nice, are you stitching him for something/someone special?
Has anyone ever stitched a cross stitch cushion? My son was looking through Stitcher catalogue that came with WOXS and he would like me to stitch either African Horizon (the one Louise has ordered) or the Tiger cushion cover on p36. I've googled tiger cushion covers and can find a nicer one (it's roaring) for under £20 including postage. The cushion is stitched on 4.5 count canvas and I've never stitched on anything this big before so wondered if anyone else had and if so what they thought of it?
Thanks for any help you can give.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j
