Just wondering if one of you wonderful people can help. I recently purchased a Liverpool fc chart, only 4 colours, but one of the colours is DMC 3844, which doens't seem to be the right colour in my mind for the Liverpool colour. http://yarntree.com/075dmcolors.jpg link to DMC colour chart, http://easypatterns.blogspot.co.uk/2011/04/liverpool-fc-cross-stitch-pattern.html link to chart.
What do you think, anyone help.!!

    Thanks
    Nicky

It was basically a Filofax with all the names/addresses/opening times of all the stitch shops in the uk that I could find. Hard work, but the stitch guides from magazines she had were so worn out that you could barely read them!

Thanks Maria, but could you just check as 3861 looks like a mauve on the chart, would it be 3816 by any chance??
Sorry to be a pain :D

Soulie - White lighning is coming along well, it's good having progress pics so you can see exactly how much progress you have made

I am very annoyed at the moment at my youngest sister :( We were told on Monday our Dad only has weeks and not months to go, so I went with my mum today for her breast scan as he isn't able to walk about any more . Anyway, we did a bit of shopping and went for dinner afterwards, it cheered her up a bit. When we were eating she phoned my sister and as soon as she said where she was my sister said 'phone me back when you're on your own' and hung up! Then I read on her facebook 'clearly there is always a f***ing favourite* I was shocked, her behaviour has been ridiculous for months now, a lot of attention seeking. I refuse to get drawn into a facebook argument of any kind though so I will content myself to telling OH and you guys lol

Edit to add: Mum decided to take younger sis shopping and out for a meal today to make sure 'everyone is the same' so the little madam has actually been rewarded for going off on one. Brilliant.

On a lighter note...I should have another completed project for my list tomorrow.....

So sorry to hear about your Dad Louise, big hugs from me.

Probably best just to ignore your sister, I hope your mum didn't call her back after she was so rude!

Families eh? All sorts going on in mine, haven't had much time for stitching :(
I've got everything crossed for my dad today. I don't really want to get into the story on here but lets just say he needs lots of luck/good wishes!

I really really hope the whole mess gets sorted and I can relax this weekend!

Sorry to hear the news about your Dad Louise.
    How rude of your sister!

My copy of WOXS came through the letterbox an hour ago.

I like the little chart booklet, a few nice designs in there that can easily be adapted for other colours.

I love Pooh and Piglet. And the six birthday card designs, which can be adapted for other colours too.

And as a lover of cupcakes, I really like the new cupcake series.

I love the unicorn, but I am not keen on Joan Elliott's way of backstitching. I really love the fabric used though!

Wasn't happy to see Anthea Turner in the magazine. Not a fan of her at all lol

One thing that puzzled me was one of the letters on page 17, unless I am reading it wrong? It says she stitched it for her godson JJ, then later goes on to say she will be doing a birth sampler next as she is expecting again, and that JJ will have a sister? Must be a typo!

Next issue looks good too. I had wanted to buy that Diamond Jubilee chart, however, it is in the next issue for lots of £££ saved there! And I like the look of the close up flowers, and of course one of my favourites is the free gift (AOY).

PS. I agree Louise, it doesn't seem all that long ago since we reviewed the last issue!
