    evening all.

all sorted with the missing page now. Thank you all. I have ordered the threads so shall be stitching it very soon :j (along with my million other projects) :D

I am so glad that I'm home. It has just been one of those days where I have just wanted to put a bag over my head and hide! I was also out last night so its nice to be home and know I'm not off out again. I am rather tired and expect that once tea is eaten that I shall be snoozing on the sofa....

I know a lot of you use a cross town stitching for your threads but have any of you ever used someone called Mr J Wood who seems to have advertised in Cross Stitcher since the year dot.... and charges 53p per skein.

I haven't used Mr J Wood but I have bought from Leisurecraft Tewkesbury who have also been advertising in the magazines for years and they have DMC threads on bobbins for 38p plus postage at cost. They used to exhibit at all of the stitching shows selling Mirabilia and Lavender & Lace kits and charts (which they still sell online).

Maybe everyone is stitching and we are going to get lots of update photos very soon. As you can see I'm not one of the people away stitching, although I am going to try to do half an hour before I go out to Cubs.

Off to the NEC tomorrow - yeah. On count down now.:T

Hi all, just a quick update on 'White Lightning'.

This is what it looked like on the last update (08/01/12 - 16 hours and 50 mins worth of stitching):

    2012_01080018-1-1-1.jpg

And here it is as of 19/03/12 (35 hours and 30 minutes worth of stitching):

I hadn't thought I'd done much in this latest update until I looked over the photos I had taken and saw that it really was taking shape.
I did make a tiny mistake but it's not noticeable.
However, I didn't enjoy this latest session, so I have decided to rotate pieces again, though I haven't decided what to rotate to lol

Wow...I live only 2 miles from Tewkesnbury, and didn't know about Leisurecraft...thanks for the heads up flower!! Still no x-stitching, so busy with lots of other things :o

Enjoy the show 23rd, I like going with friends, but ofter prefer going on my own....much more likely to do things that I want to do (selfish or what!!) :o

As far as I could tell, it's not a shop, just mail order. Things may have changed since I made my mum's stitching bible, though.

Hope you have a great time and get some good bargains.
I have to wait an extra 24 hours as I'm going on Saturday. Really looking forward to getting one of those lap frames that eveyone on here is raving about.
I've had a look at sizes today and although both would be nice eventually, I'm thinking I'll get the smaller one initially.
It's going to be a real MSE day as I found a free coach and I got my ticket with my Tesco Clubcard points.
