You could get the stories and books on CD's but they weren't quite official. plus there is a download - although that takes AGES.

apart from the little storyteller partwork the only other one I remember getting was the animals of farthing wood one. LOVED both of those ones wish they'd be re-released for my kids.
Got to see the Hogwarts Express today in York :j:j
Thanks Chickywiggle - just ordered them.0 -
Soulie - your card looks good and the dalek is coming along great. I agree with Louise I would have kept going to see what the dalek looked like.
TellmeitsFriday - have fun tomorrow. I normally take cash with me that I've saved before hand and once that's once I stop spending. Well that's the idea - it doesn't always work. The show in November I took £100 with me and spent less than £25. I went on my own and did quite a few drop in sessions and had a great time. Looking forward to hearing what you end up buying.
I used to go to quite a lot of shows and almost always spent more than I intended (this being pre MSE days of course). Now I go to fewer shows and am far more selective about what I buy. I do think part of this is due to the fact that online shopping means that if I see something I like I don't feel the same pressure to buy there and then as I know I can probably buy it online later (this is not what stall holders want to hear of course!).
I do enjoy the experience though - I often meet up with other stitchers which is always great and I love the workshops especially the taster sessions which are often free or very cheap. I've tried various different techniques this way over the years, some I like, some I don't.
I also think that nothing beats actually seeing stitched samples on display.0 -

Gave my Mum the freesias picture yesterday along with a bunch of the real things (the scent from them was amazing!) and she was really pleased. I know she appreciates the work that goes into the pictures. I also gave her an IOU that my hubby will go and put it up for her when she decides where she wants it hanging

London and can't wait to go back. Fingers crossed this year. I am going to put ths one on my bedroom wall with a red mount and a white frame. I have a feeling ikea doesn't do the frame I want (the same as what I have already) to this size so I will have to get a different frame for it. Might use a framers for this one though, never used them before but i want this one done correctly. I framed the butterfly piece myself but the mount wasn't very good
Not picked it back up tonigh, having a night off from it... Reading new job material instead
I love that London picture - reminds me of a photograph my OH took when we were in London for my last marathon - he put the bus in red and the rest in black and white but it was against Lambeth Bridge I think. You're doing a fantastic job of your piece - it's making me want to do that one more every time I see it more finished!
*Louise* - you've no doubt noticed by now or it's been pointed out, but on your lion chart, the lines underneath the claws, you've drawn in red but they're part of the banner which is in blue/black ( I can't quite remember what colour).0
