Louise, Thankyou for the link on the adia, I will have to find something to stitch on that, I may have found it though.
No update, called into work twice since my last post :T WILL do some stitching tonight and WILL update later or tomorrowSo sorry for failing on all my promises but I do love my new job and its giving me pennies to spend on stitching :rotfl:

No cross stitch managed today yet....
Have instead been doing not very much and had a random snooze on the sofa this afternoon. I have also finished Retribution by Val McDermid. It was an ok read but nothing special. Now I can't wait to pick what I want to read next :j
I'm also undecided as to what to stitch next. I am terrible at making my mind up!0 -

Well I've asked0 -
Right - almost instantaneous response from seller : It's listed for worldwide sale, maybe they can't get it over there. If they want to pay over the odds That's their issue.
Fair enough, I guess.0 -
Almost no stitching here for me - We have been clearing out DD's bedroom and hubby is building her new bed. She is all excited as it'a cabin bed - we needed more storage as she has the smallest bedroom (and girls accymulate an amazing amount of STUFF:eek:) Need to get her toy kitchen and wooden dolls house photgraphed and sold for her - was thinking Gumtree rather than ebay, not used it before so will look into it.
Also...I am running a course next weekend and I have got NO printed paperwork for itI can easily rattle it up, could run the course in my sleep tbh but I need to get a programme of sorts in place, so no stitching for me till it's done!

I'm back - programme is done, can print off some more sheets later
Maria - she is looking lovely! :TI bought that mag the other day, wouldn't usually, but the cake stand for 99p was a bargain in itself- they cost more than that at Asda :rotfl:It was okay, seemed interesting but don't think I am going to subscribe to it, I don't think I have the skills or patience required to faff about so muchCross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Maria, great update! Yes I purchased it, well Mum paid :rotfl: Its ok but the magazine itself is very thin. I didn't learn much in this issue as it's basic stuff but I would like to see it a few weeks in. If you order for delivery you can get lots of free stuff and you can then cancel with no recourse. Unsure if I will order to get it delivered will decide this week I think. But for 99p the cutters are of ok quality and the cake stand is good.0 -
Looked at the subscription today and I'm very tempted to subscribe but £12 each month is a lot if its not much good and there's 90 issues so that's £300 . I'm very tempted but always feel guilty if I spend money on me so I'm going back and forth on it. It is a skill I would love to get better at though! Really don't know if to subscribe or not!13 in 2013 challenge 9/130

I'm back!
I am absolutely shattered - plymouth to london and back is too much for me in a day; I've decided I won't do that again!
As for the show, I only spent £20 on bits and bobs - got a ball of can can wool for a scarf. Lovely purple. I also got a "ribbon embroidery" kit which is pretty. I will add some pics when my legs stop aching
I got a frame, some needles and a couple of thread sorters in the cross stitch dept,
Saw hundreds of kits I loved, but decided not to - I have twenty in my box to do (one day) as well as numerous UFO's... round of applause for my will power please!!!!
Wasn't anymore impressed with it than the one I went to in Exeter a couple of years ago... the additional stuff were things I was not interested in. However, they are selling some beautiful wool - but very expensive.
...saying that, it was good, and without all the travelling would have been a lovely day out
Hope you all had good saturdays xx0
