Right here goes!
I've finished the little eagle (8 hours 10 minutes of stitching time - though probably less if you add up all the couple of mins to thread colours and everytime I looked at the tv for a minute lol).
Anyways, I am quite please with how it turned out, and I think my version looks even better than the one I found on the net!
I just need to cut it down to size and figure out a way to affix it to acetate. Any suggestions? (Remember it will be going outside).
I might also add a border around the edge, in maybe the yellow? What do you guys think?

I've also cheated a little and made this one of my 15 for this year, and taken off one of the bigger projects LMAO. Anyways this is my first finish for this year!
OH went to Home Bargains earlier and got me another thread storage box, so off to sort and wind more threads now13 Projects in 2013 Finished: 5 of 13

Well done Soulie the eagle looks great. It's hard to say whether you should put a border around without seeing what it's going in. Not sure how tofix in acetate but it might be worth running a seal of silicon around the outside to stop water getting inside.
Catwoman - I like those celtic alphabet charts. Might have to keep the link to them as they look good for a small gift for a man.
Lisa - well done on finishing one design and starting another. I tend to hand wash larger pieces but don't bother with smaller ones. I then tend to frame smaller pieces myself and larger ones which I may have spent many many hours completing I get professionally framed. I do shop round for framing and would suggest you go on recommendations.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

Loving all the stitching going on. I've just spent ages sorting threads for a new project - a stained glass Nativity piece. I may regret starting it though - it's only 5" x 7" but has 37 colours!
Will attempt to post a picture once I'm back home at the weekend."There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

Okay, I brought out my box of stitching to change it from the cardboard to a plastic box, and decided to lay it out and take a pic - going to send it in to WOXS and see if I can get a mention lol
I overestimated slightly......There are 91 finished pieces in total. I gave a few away to a friend last year, she got them framed for herself.
The oldest ones are two Winnie The Pooh designs from 1999.
