Welcome Sazdaz...
Not much stitching tonight, managed about 50 stitches before we decided to go shopping tonight instead of tomorrow. However positive of that is I get to read WOCS in bed
Now how fast can I stitch the cover kit for Mum for mothering sunday? Don't want to take away from London but a stitched card will be much better than a shop bought one :j 0 -
Flowerofscotland just tried out the evenweave you sent to me, and I love it! You may well have converted me if not for all my projects defiantly some. I tried 2 over 2 and 2 over 1. I love the way the stitches look. Did a couple of little hearts. Thanks again for you kindness xxx13 in 2013 challenge 9/130

Maria - the Thomas looks lovely.
Mags - you're so nearly there on Tenby. It's been a big project but you can really see the progress. Hope you start to feel a bit better soon.
Sazdaz - welcome to the Cafe. The only letter patterns I know to are either for woman, flower fairy type things or small letters to make up names. Sorry I can't helo with this one.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

Hi ladies (and gents?), just wanted a bit of advice. I'm only a novice at this cross stitch lark but I have just completed a small humphrey's corner picture and I'm partway through another much bigger one with rabbits on. they're for my baby's nursery . My question is, what do i do with them when I finish them? do i need to wash them and if so how is best to do it? And how do I go about framing them or is it easiest to pay a shop or something to do it for me?
Thanks x0 -
I always put my stuff in the wash when I am finished - but that's because it always has cat foot prints on it.
If its not dirty, just iron it, and roll it up around a long loo roll
As for framing, there are tutorials on line to have a go with. Some professional framers will not do fabric, so ring up for a quote0
