afternoon all
almost sorted fro fathers day. went up to the cemetry last weekend and got one of the planters back so i can plant it up with something nice for fil, my dads getting a footie shirt and mens toiletry pakc Tesc0 has on offer for £10 along with a bottle of brandy. kids are sorted for DH.

youngest DD has a birthday in july ive ordered her main pressie and something from her brothers, hoping to get her a card stitched.

did this for my mum

my brothers little one is still poorly in hspital her name is lily hence the flower and the balloon is the symbol of the hospital she is in, i just need to frame it now.

rufus love those felt keyrings and the dolls things...i been using the sewing machine, made a blanket for the dog / car. When the dog goes in the car he likes to be between the front seat and the backseat in the footwell and I wanted something to fasten on the front head rest. go down the back of the front seat, fasten underneath on the adjusters and come back across the floor and up over the back seats,its made now:T it looks a bit :eek: but it does the job:rotfl:....and the sewing machine works, could only be me who has 2 faulty ones , different makes!!!

Its my sons Birthday in 3 weeks and he wants an ipod so have to start looking for a good deal. Fathers day on Sunday too so have to sort something for that.

Morning all

Must be a lot of us got birthdays coming up, YD's is in July, the middle, she will be 17 this year and ED has said she can have a party at hers. She is having a fancy dress party and they have all got to go a super heroes, she has given me a picture of what she wants to wear, Google Harley Quinn and you will see what I have to come up with!! Glad she has given me a few weeks, not sure I can do the boots though!

I made some more of the felt key rings yesterday while the football was on. Made four of the owls for presents for the girls for Christmas. Have some other shapes cut out to have a go at today while the tennis is on (its a hard life lol).

rufus - those felt owls sound fab, are the keyrings on your blog, have to have a look.
Birthdays July - got mum and dads, don't know what there having yet, just got fathers day sorted out, already got Miss hoodies done, but I waited to get bottle whisky duty free prices - got litre teachers whisky for £10.50 - be a happy bunny.

Slowly playing catch up, the great plan next week is to hit the christmas list with vengence, x

Cleaner came yesterday and aside from the usual stuff she sorted out some stacking storage boxes I'd got -half the stuff in them I didn't need so now they're upstairs in the spare room giving a home for ''keepsakes''........stuff I want to hand on to but don't need it round me all the time.
Shes spurred me on to sort out my card making drawers so I spent today doing that.....now the paper is in respected drawers, fabric samples, water colours etc.and drawers are labelled ! Tomorrow there are two bigger drawers I need to clear out. That'll be fun. Forgotten whats in them..............lol
Hospital rang with a date for me and OH to go and see the 4 consultants who dealt with him last year.............OH asked for this meeting and today says ''do I have to be there?''............daft thing....of course he does.
It coincided with a hospital appt I've already got so they've shifted the consutant meeting to work around it. Not till July 23rd but gives me time to work out what needs to be said/asked etc.
So thats been my day. Thankfully the hosepipe bans now lifted so watering the garden should be easier...........if we ever have a dry day............lol
