    Morning all, I have been sewing all weekend. Havent been using my machine as OH has been on nights all weekend so found some hand sewing to do. Someone on the sewing thread suggested I make some felt key rings for my stall to attract the kids over so I have been busy doing them. Just a few more to do out of the ones I have got ready which I will finish off tonight. I like them so much I think I will make some extra for extra Xmas presents for the girls and women.

    Susan, hope the latest sewing machine works ok, what are you thinking of making with it? And I know what you mean about putting the weight on again. I am still being good, will weight myself again on Tuesday, not tempting to weight myself in between. I think my weight loss will drop to 1lb a week, I always seem to lose more at the beginning then it slows down. Last time it stopped completely after about 6 months.

    Hi y'all

    As I'm out of the loop can someone enlighten me about one of mum2one's posts where she's arranging a buffet in a pub but also mentioned in a previous post about a wedding saga. Are the two connected?

    Mary, as usual you are having fun and games of some kind, the washing this time. I hope you and OH are feeling better from the previous times I used to post.

    hi Angela

    We're back safe and sound, thou absolutely shattered. Miss Hoodie absolutely loved the holiday, had fab view from our room, full view of the swimming pool and also the sea. It was lush.

    I have come back a burnt brown shade, despite using suntan lotion, Miss hooide made 2 new friends, brother + sister (8 + 7). they were inseperable going to mini club, in and out of the pool.

    I think the highlight was Miss Hoodie and her antics, - she rode a camel (shes her mother doesn't do things simply!!) the camel decided to get up before she got on it, so the two blokes lifted her up and over, she loved it, we both fed a giraffe, and she fed an elephant. For the 2 weeks, it was like having my daughter back. Thou we've had tears she didn't want to come home,

    ==========
    Miss Hoodie choosen the prize for £1 challenge, so hope your all having fun, xx

    I have updated my blog this evening, there are three new posts showing what I have been up to in the sewing department. Mary, the felt key rings might be an idea for you as something different xx

    Just to let you all know dd2's 19th birthday xmas dinner was fab. We forewent sprouts and parsnip, but apart from that turkey with all the trimmings. Dd1 & dd2 back from uni, ds back from work in time, also dd2's bf, dds godfather and his partner. Table in red and green, crackers ( 1/2 price in jan) candles and classicfm carols cd followed by silly xmas game. I can thoroughly recommend summer xmas. Asked dd1 (dec birthday) if she'd like a beach bbq :rotfl:
