just a quickie if anyone needs to post a card for fathers day - its Sunday - or if you need to get a present.
Rufus - those keyrings are fab, are they double sided, love to try something like that with Miss Hoodie. xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Hello all :j
Been lovely sunny day so I managed to walk into town. Charity shop was having a plant sale.....mostly herbs but I did get a few foxgloves (mine seem to have vanished) and a blue cranesbill. OH had to do the planting this afternoon........I just couldn't manage it and I've got physio tomorrow !!!
Hospital complaints lady phoned again........one boffin can't make the meeting so would we make do with just seeing the clinical director ! Well, no we wouldn't and when I reeled through all that had happened to OH last year she quite agreed so now we wait for another appointment !
Being taken out for a treat tomorrow by my friend -coincides with England playing football so OH can watch it in peace. We're going to see Snow White at the local theatre. Don't know when I last went ........one of those things.....if its on the doorstep you tend not to go. Maybe now I can't go very far I might go more often.
MIL's birthday this weekend and normally we'd be going but not this year (or last) so she sent us a cheque to treat ourselves to a meal out (or in) . Normally if we were there she'd take the whole family out and pay for it. I thought it was such a nice thought. There's a little restaurant down by the river so when we get a fine evening (must do eventually) we'll have a meal there courtesy of MIL.
No 'organising' done today what with going out and feeling too whacked when I got back...........think it'll be the weekend now before I carry on whats been started.
Hope you're ok:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

think I'm going rusty, its been absolutely chucking it down here, got as far as wrapping fathers day presents, been sorting everything else out.
The school are now saying they don't have enough governerors to deal with the complaint, so have booked an appointment for nxt week with the head, if not sorted our next step is to go to the secetary of state at Parliment!!
Then added to dad bumped my car at weekend, broke my headlight, and put a small dent in the other car, as he was reversing he was liable for the accident, dreading what stunts the other driver going to pull, I feel like saying is it worth going on holiday!! xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Mum2one, those key rings are not double sided, took long enough to do just the one side lol. They would be quite easy to do with Miss Hoodie if you have some felt. You could always fix them to a hair clip for her instead of a keyring or may be a safety pin to make a brooch.0

been organised and been doing my fairy godmother moments-
bottle of wine (freebie) and box of tunisian sweets (£1) for my travel agent, as bless him he does everything for me.
Box of biscuits (reduced to £2 Homebargains) for the secetary at solicitors
Bottle of wine (£3.50 reduced Home Bargains) for solicitor.
As finally sorted with the court case, Miss Hoodie has to have letters every 2 months, - theres always the possibility that he will go for further access down the line, but cross that bridge when it comes, my prority is supporting Miss Hoodie with all this, again cross the bridge as and when.
Back to car booting at weekend weather permitting!! xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

What about lots of practical jokes/ magic tricks (whoppee cushions, etc)- lots of websites have them for around £1 each. My boys used to find them hilarious!Stopped smoking 20th October 2012
This year I will have something that resembles a garden and not a building site!0 -

Thank you for that, will have a look, they did have a small joke set last year so will have to see what they have got. It is so difficult as they get older.0
