Good [STRIKE]morning[/STRIKE] afternoon (whoops!)

Can't get motivated
I got up at 10am, fed the dog, had a shower & breakfast, put away good crockery in sideboard. DD2 asked if she could could have friends over tonight as I am going out. She is 16. I trust her, and her friends - just terrified that 'word' gets out  However, it was 8 of them, and now looks like just 3 (more of a girly sleepover than a party
). next door will be home, & I will be a few streets away.
DD1's BF is travelling down to see her ('cos he is missing her!)
I need to get some food from Mr T's, and walk the dog. Then I may tackle the ironing
Hugs & spoons to those that need them, esp Decko & Msgnomey.0 -

(((Hugs))) to Msgnomey and Deco.
Laundry is collected and sorted. WM and TD on, but I don't think I'll get through it all today, unless I keep popping across tonight and stick it back on again.
All bins emptied, beds stripped, kitchen sink clean, DW emptied - service runs will probably be done tomorrow.
Problem is that I keep finding urgent stuff to add to the list... I'm editing the previous post as it's so long.0 -
Study curtains are up and look fabulous... Although the curtain pole may need shortening at one end. The notice board isn't going to fit where I'd planned on putting it, but I have been through it and sorted it out, so it can go up whe the rest fo the shelves are up and we can work out the last few bits. The window sill is clear, so I have to think about what will be allowed to live on it. I should probably have some plants in there as I will be spending so much time there.
I have also returned a few bits and pieces to the shed, and out the washing in the TD, but other than in the study have made no real inroads into the chaos...
Lunchtime now...0 -
Thanks for the link, msgnomey. Looks interesting, so I'll save it to have a good look with a cuppa later. ETA Added to favourites.
I'd hoped that OH was finally on board after seeing me make an effort and appreciating it, but I should know by now that we'll never make a proper team - I'll just have to do it my way and it looks like this calendar has some good ideas.

of course it WOULD be blue skies here - that and the washing basket have beckoned - I shall be ironing this evening LOL
Bathroom cleaned (was waiting for an absence of Valliteens, you may recall). One's gone to her Dad's; t'other's had a lie in. His bed has been made. Teenage boys will do ANYTHING for a bacon butty
Listed stuff on fleabay (to use my 99p free listing before a new month;)). Just about to scoff left over bolognaise - with pasta and side salad - very impressed with the bag of watercress and spinach salad leaved bought from Mr A for 5p OOD on the 27th - clearly no-one mentioned the die by date to the leaves!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Thank you Honey Bear0 -
I've only got the kitchen floor to mop now I think. Will have to clean WM in the new year (already on my diary).
Count some blessings from the year gone by - I got married:beer: finished my course (well, I still have a couple of things to finish off but it's mostly done;)), started learning how to deal with my family better and realised how lucky I am to have so many wonderful friends around me.

I've had a bit of a disaster while doing my soup - my hand blender's broke - the blades just came off into my soup! I have rescued them though and put the soup into my food processor to blend - now I know why I use my hand blender though, my food processor's too small, I've had to put 3 lots into it.NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20
