    Hello all

been a funny old xmas - the day itself was fine and bright and blowy and I had washing on the line! No cooking to do and we weren't leaving until 3!

lots of fun down at my sisters then my dad collapsed - well KUDOS to the ambulance service - and the NHS; they kept him until Boxing Day so we were somewhat subdued and up VERY late the next day - we had planned to stay over anyway so came back Tuesday evening; having been for a walk with balls and a frisbee and a teenager who didn't want to do that - then ran around like an Afghan Hound (long hair; long legs and sleek) playing with her cousins (not my teen BTW).

Anyway came home without my handbag (fortunately had some cash in the house) but have now got it so we went to M'hell yesterday evening and I spent my voucher on new plates for my new kitchen, which I now have plans for. Looks like I will be using the independant kitchen fitter/joiner as I'm having a stud wall removed and rebuilt, differently, to incorporate a proper door instead of the sliding one I have now - one of my doors has lost the glider anyway.

Hope you're all well! Nice to see newbies (as has been said, don't crash and burn - level one to start with!) and returners.

Newbie here and feeling quite impressed with what i have done already.

Well just sorted out the undies draw and turfed out any old socks that I now have nice new ones to replace. Then whilst in the swing of it sorted out the next two draws and bagged up some summer stuff still in there, and bagged some bootfair stuff.
Just unpacked all the smellies so packaging in recycling and bathroom cupboard sorted into what is being used and what is spares.
Now off to clean out the fridge and write a list of what is in there. Then going to clear the pinboard ready for my newly organised me lists and calendar. Whoo hoooooo Loving it.

Need to get to grips with my house again!

Hi to anyone who remembers me, it's been a while since I've been on here:o

Currently doing a bit of DIY and trying to declutter before I go back to uni.

Just read the last page and saw your Dad isn't well Valli, hope he'll be ok.
