Are you planning your meals for each week in advance out of interest? This will help you with your budgeting x

I know things may seem hard, but you're doing well. There are always going to be some points which dont go as well as others, but keep going :)

    Hi D

I don/t get much chance to check in here so it's great to see you doing so well!!! Well done on the ebaying you've made loads there!

All you really need to say to your friends is that you are paying off your credit card, you don't need to go into too many details, I bet at least one of your friends has some credit card debt even if you don't know about it. I recently told one of my friends that we were paying off our debts and that's why we couldn't afford to go out as much as we used to and she was SOOOO relieved....her and her partner have similar debts to us but she never said anything as she thought we'd thiink badly of her...i don't know why she thought that she's a good friend anyway now we do stuff together that is moneysaving..ie cook for each other and partners/have girly DVD nights with other friends too...infact we probably have more fun now than we ever did. I guess what i'm trying to say is, don't worry about telling your friends, if they care about you then they'll find other ways of spending time with you rather than not see you at all....

Think I better stop waffling....it's been a long week!

    Take care

Hi Kit, thanks for popping in and for your lovely words!

I am just scared to tell ym friends. I am still ashamed. Theya re just so different, I dont think any of them struggles with debt. My best friend is the most sensible girl you know, what she doesnt have, doesnt spend. Other one is very rich etc.. I just really cant tell anyone apart from you guys. everyone would be outraged and worried and would look down on me..

Im so glad to see that it turned out so well with you and your friends and that you do mse things together! :) i wish it would work like that for me too.. I already lost two so called friends due to my thriftyness..

then perhaps they were not your friends? (hugs) real friends wouldn't do this - not everything in life is to do with how much money you have.
