Taking on Paypal

Who has ever used Ebay and not had a grudge against Paypal????0

It would be interesting to know what the item in question is and if it would have been less time consuming and cheaper (than the small claims expenses) to just get it repaired (if repairable). Or if it would have been more beneficial (or at least less futile) to go after the seller as suggested by ludovico on the 1st page.0

So they already offer way more than is required but because of an individuals mistake, that isn't good enough and you think they should change to offer even more?!?
How do you know that Paypal have not made a mistake? I am guessing you don't.
Do you know all of the facts to this case? I doubt it.
Or are you assuming that it is all my fault? (Assumption being the mother of all etc etc as they say)0 -

Or are you assuming that it is all my fault? (Assumption being the mother of all etc etc as they say)Bought an item from a guy in Germany - was broken so I raised a dispute via Paypal and returned the item.
I go away for a few weeks where I could not access the web and when I came back, the seller did not refund me and Paypal closed the issue as I had not "raised" the matter to a claim within 20 days.
YOU said that YOU had missed the deadline. Why would you omit information that proved Paypal made a mistake? It won't affect your claim posting it here.
You seem to playing a strange game!0 -
Millions of people I would imagine! I've never had a problem with Paypal (and I'm a seller who they normally don't side with!) so why would I have a grudge against them?!
Fair point, Paypal are wonderful LMAO.
Try to not take all posts too literally!
So if I win how will you respond (seeing as you seem to know all the facts to the case of course)?

You seem to playing a strange game!
That's exactly the point - it is just a game, I am not trying to change the world just give Paypal a bit of grief.
Win or lose, I don't care.
I care not a jot about T&Cs but there is no way I am sharing all of the facts here.
You have a small snippet of information that I gave you yet you argue with certainty. I would never be so forceful in my assumptions without any depth of knowledge.
2 lines at the start of a thread is hardly a complete picture!!
Do you see know?0 -

With the info you have given on here you are on a losing wicket.
I have no doubt there may be more to this, but dont judge people for siding with PayPal with the info you provide. You failed to meet the deadline. Had you adhered to it, you wouldn't be posting.
Like all posts, yours can only be taken at face value.
On face value, I agree with those that say PayPal have not breached their T&C and as such you cocked up, this you admit.
On face value, I suspect you will update this thread to say you got a full apology and all your money back.0 -

In answer to that I refer you back to post #36, in particular the final part...<snip>
Having said that, each to their own and if you have nothing better to do with your time and you find it entertaining then the best of luck to you.0
