as you have seen here. there are folks who deem you a rapist if you set foot in their porch.
also, how accesable is your porch with a red bag on shoulder and a bundle of mail in hand?
From the back end to the door you could easily fit 6 men in, it's quite big, very long and the width is about a standard door plus half again.
The layout means you can reach in from the path and put post through the front door box, without putting a foot into the porch. As I said it seems to confuse them lol.0 -

deest really matter how big it is
more how accessable
eg door width and turning space0 -

Well, they manage to stand on our path and put the post through the porch letterbox.
As I said, putting it through the front door box means they wouldn't have to step into the porch, so they could easily manage from the spot they already are at when putting post through the porch box. I doubt the distance from porch door frame to front door letter box is more than 4 or 6 inches.
Hence why I think it must confuse them us having 2 letterboxes, as it's such a simple matter to put it through front door instead.
Anyway, much as I appreciate your insight to the workings of RM, you can only argue their case blind as you can't see my set-up. I can and don't see any reason why they can't put it through the front door box, even with a heavy mailbag over their shoulder.0 -

hold on,hold on
you never mentioned there being a letterbox on the porch
if theres a letterbox then its a valid delivery point.
if you aren't happy with mail in the porch then seal up the letterbox0 -

Because it's out and out racism - whether the OP intended it or not and your reply also intimates the same tbh

Whoops my mistake, sorry!
It may be a valid delivery point in RM terms, but actually when the porch door is open (when I say open I don't mean unlocked, I mean open as in several inches or more ajar) I can tell by the position of the post that they chuck it on the floor- not through the box. As while the post normally "travels" across the porch when the door is shut, when it is open it myteriously travels much further. It's funny that in 6 years of being here the only times I find the post much further back is when the porch is open.
Hence me saying there is a letterbox in front of them on the front door they should use instead when porch is open.0
