Can anyone help with me a Boots discount code please?

My basket is £82.99 (all full priced items) unfortunately nothing that will be reduced to 75% off!

Discount code thread is here if anyone knows of a working code, thanks.

Anyone been in Belfast stores lately ? If so what r the sale stock levels like. I'm in mid ulster and will check all the local stores here if it's any use to anyone but was curious if Belfast would be a better bet ?!

Belfast Donegal Place is heaving with stuff and they were putting out even more tonight but nobody was buying this afternoon. Went past this morning on the offchance, so that was 30 mins flexi time wasted!!! Try again next week!:D
  • They had signs up in the window for the 75% off at Alverton Boots in Penzance today - my Mum got loads of stuuf, but it only went throught the till at half price so nice SAs honoured the signs and she still got the stuff. They said it was 'the wrong day', but ignored my Mum when she asked when the right day will be! Who knows, maybe tomorrow...

  • I was wondering if it would be tomorrow with all the shelves being packed/changed what ever was happening. Perhaps they were labelling them all.

Went to my nearest large Boots today. No 75% off sale and still quite a lot of stuff on shelves. Don't believe the "stuff still selling well at 50% off" as each time I have been in any Boots it has been really quiet with a few people looking but not buying. If you read this, Mr Boots bosses and think holding off longer will sell more at 50% off you are sadly mistaken. If the sale comes up now I'm not sure I can be bothered any more. Most stuff really overpriced at full price and really only worth half price at the most.

I know what you mean Patricia, i feel after Boots have messed us around arranging it for today, sending the signs, then changing their mind, with me setting an alarm for 6 etc, others having to take time off work, and then they change their mind...i don't know you begin to wonder if you can be bothered? it seems to have backfired for Boots in my opinion as now I've just gone on the body shop website and spent £20 that I would have spent in Boots this morning, so imo they might want to get a move on and stop leaving people in the dark... apart from that maybe we wouldn't be waiting so long to buy if their sets weren't so stupidly expensive!

  • Well we have a boots clearance store nearby, so if stock is being cleared from store shelves, it's odds-on that it's going to go there at a knock down price - but not 75% off.

I suspect, like many stores, Boots are trying to maximize their profits and this is the best way to do it - rather than losing a packet on a 75% off sale for the huge amount of overstocks they have left...

Just my 4p worth. This thread gets funnier by the day with gals pumping up their adrenaline levels for a no-holds barred rush at a load of old tut/toot/whatever. I went into Boots today to see bods doing a military-style reconnaissance, ready for the off...!

    What larks!!

My recommendation is if you want it, buy it now or miss out completely.

It did cross my mind tonight when I was in the Newcastle upon Tyne main store...they were stocking up the already heaving shelves with cages full of stuff. The managers were milling around too. That would be funny as we are all so used to it being a Wednesday...I have visions of 100's of dressing gown-clad bargain hunters pitching up as Boots stage a surprise ninja-style sale!

Hi all, I am new to this forum, I went into my local boots this morning (the Fort, Glasgow). I asked the sales assistant when their 75% sale would be. She said loads of people have been asking and that all the staff do not know and that their might not be 75% off this year. When I paid for my items, I also asked the man at the till (he went ballistic). He said that their definitely would not be a further sale and that all "this crap"(his words) had came from the online site Moneysavingexpert.com. I actually thought this was quite funny, he was not amused(lol). I think personally there will be a further sale as everyone was so cagey. I will keep you all informed if there is one, there is still loads of stock in this store, by the way xxx:beer::j:j:rotfl:

But they must be used to a very similar buying pattern every year. I don't find 3 for 2 particularly attractive as I buy in twos (2 daughters, 4 grandchildren in sets of 2). I then buy what I really want at 50% off, and stock up my presents stash at 75%.

And I really can't bring myself to give reduced Soap and Glory or Sanctuary sets for another year. Even I have an embarrassment threshold!
