Boots 1/2 Price Sale

I'm sure we are going to be in the same will they/won't they situation next week and I will be glaring out of my window next tues night/wed morning to try and get some news! My store still had loads, if it was selling that would have been just after Christmas in the big sale rush, people aren't bothering with it now!

I have been to Boots Brighton branch today and the upper level was absouloutly heaving with xmas stock. There was everything you could think of ie Soap and glory, Sanctuary, gok, loads of black fcuk bags heaving with stock but hey hardly anyone buying anything.

I wasn't going to go if it was this week, but next Wednesday (or thur or fri) would suit me perfectly. I'll be walking distance from a Boots :-)

I've just come home from my area's flagship store. An SA said the 75% off was going to be from today but they decided last minute not to reduce the stock because it is still selling very well at 50%. I know at least last weekend there was still new stock coming in so I guess it's going even if the shelves don't look much emptier.

I have noticed, though, that smaller (some quite big but non-flagship) stores have much less stock at least in my area, relative to the amount of space it all took up before christmas.

Sadly (well, not really!) I'll be abroad next Wednesday if that's when it starts, but hopefully there'll be something left the week after

Went into my local small Boots and agree with Poppett above there is hardly any stock left and what is left is carp. Just the S7g drums with a pinny in and loads of the carousel cardboard with shower gels in not very good at all. Never mind will try to go to a different Boots when the 75% is off.

Loads of Sanctuary bags in Maidstone today - the red ones and the beige ones. Also lots of the S&G Yum At Heart tins. Didn't have time to stop and have a proper look at what else there was, as I was just walking through the store to get into the shopping centre.

Anyone been in Belfast stores lately ? If so what r the sale stock levels like. I'm in mid ulster and will check all the local stores here if it's any use to anyone but was curious if Belfast would be a better bet ?!

I was in the Swindon town centre store today and they were clearing the sale items from the shelves, I asked when the 75% sale would be on and she replied with a smile there isn't going to be one. I don't believe her and heard her say to a member of staff had lots of items in their locker that they had put back for colleagues. Not sure why they are clearing the shelves they didn't seem to want to tell me lol.

Went to my nearest large Boots today. No 75% off sale and still quite a lot of stuff on shelves. Don't believe the "stuff still selling well at 50% off" as each time I have been in any Boots it has been really quiet with a few people looking but not buying. If you read this, Mr Boots bosses and think holding off longer will sell more at 50% off you are sadly mistaken. If the sale comes up now I'm not sure I can be bothered any more. Most stuff really overpriced at full price and really only worth half price at the most.
