I wasn't getting at you personally, more the fact that several people "knew members of Boots staff who had CONFIRMED it would start today" etc. My take on it is that all stores / staff are told different things, and are as much in the dark as us! And I didn't say that Boots staff told lies to customers, I said that their superiors tell lies to them, so they can't pass on any info!

Wanted it to be today rather than next week, just get it over and done with!
Slightly odd, but my VERY small local Boots had barely anything on the sale shelves yesterday. There are usually 4-5 half packed shelves but they were all empty except one which had a Strictly gift box, and a couple of Strictly make up pallettes.

Has stock been moved to biigger stores? Is anyone else finding the same thiing happen in their stores?

Went to the Liverpool store this morning but was still 50% there too, they still have quite a lot of stock though, should be good if the 75% sale is next wed!

Popped into Margate branch this morning... still half price sale on. No sign of 75% off yet. Definitely not 75% off in Westwood Cross either, damn it !!

Lol, my dd is 10 ( yrs not mnths) and we're lucky if we get to the door of the shop without having to threaten to send her back to the car to wait for me. It doesn't seem to get an easier with some kids even as they get older.

All these toddler/baby tantrum stories are freaking me out... if I ever have kids there's no way I'll be venturing to the sales for a few years! Should save me a fortune :rotfl:

I asked in my local store and i was told most of the stuff is selling well at 50%, which is why they dont think there will be a 75% sale this year
