Boots 1/2 Price Sale

Just 50% off at Derby Westfield. No signs of it being 75% off, but the shelves are full.0

Telford Centre had loads of the S&G with the hand cream and apron, the Sanctuary boxes that were £25, the Dannii Minogue stuff as well as the usual mugs, make up sets etc. There really was tons of stuff but no toys which is odd as that's what I usually or for at 75% off. I really do think that they want to sell more at half price before reducing it further as there is so much and there were people in there buying. I'll try the retail park one next week which is my usual sale haunt and easier to get my haul to the car. Last year they opened at 8.30 because of a massive queue which annoyed me arriving after the school run as it the shelves were stripped bare in that half an hour.0

There is no way i'd take my two year i'd pay the extra day at nursery if i had to.. she is a proper tantrum thrower, it's such a shame we can't take her shopping, even to the supermarket without plying her with food & a ride in the kids train afterwards.
Thank God Im not the only one was starting to think my 20 month old was spawned from Satan himself.
A Saturday night taking him around the pubs would be an extremely effective contraceptive!!0 -

There was about 5 or 6 double sided shelf units with 50% off stuff on but there wasn't alot of each individual product. Whether they have more in the back I don't know. Not sure I'd travel 2 hours to get there though. Do you not have a smaller local Boots you could go to?
thanks so much for your message. these not much left near me. my brother is thinking over taking me especially in his car for the cost of petrol if its 75% off next week as hes on lates, fingers crossed it is and that he says yes. would save the hassle of travelling on two buses and bonus would mean an extra pair of hands to watch my son as i raid the isles. i love the no 7 range and really want to get some as its so expensive at the no 7 counter. also lots of family love dove and hello kitty etc. boots has massive potential to do nearly all my 2012 shopping. not worth it at 50% off though and can't afford it anyway. COME ON 75% OFF0 -
I got a No 7 voucher this morning
I went to Teesside Park - it was pretty busy and people seemed to be buying at 50% off, I did notice though that there was some things that had loads of stock left, so not as much left as appeared. The shelves were pretty much half empty though and they were starting to put out the summer sun range next to it
Went to Superdrug and got some things there instead - Probably won't bother again even if it comes down to 75% - the stuff has really been picked over0 -
very funny, my 2 year old is exactly the same!
She hates going in trollies so we have to go down the bribing with food route- can still get away with fruit bags though. There is still some bribing involved if I can get her in a pushchair, but she loves a proper tantrum (kicking, screaming and scratching!)
One thing to suggest is streaming kids TV programs through you tube on your iphone- charlie and lola is a favourite for food shopping trips.
Anyway glad I didn't fangle a way to get to Boots this morning in the end. If it is next week I am screwed as away for business all week0 -

my two year old doesn't start nursery until september so its not an option for me, im trying to persuasde family members to take me and watch him for me. biggest problem for me is hes at that stage where he throws a paddy and runs off in the opposite direction, no fear of anything or anyone. not possible to push a pram run after him and grab sale gifts all at the same time.0
