GLASGOW BRAEHEAD NO 75% OFF SALE

Just back, i only live a few minutes away. Plenty of x-christmas stock at 50% off but no 75% and staff haven't a clue about there
EVERY being a 75% off sale.

The reason some stores have accidentally put signs up today as they were told yesterday that the sale would be today and last minute they cancelled it this week for next week, as mentioned in a previous post. The same happened last year and one store put out all the signs by accident. I'm not sure if they actually sold anthing at 75% though as the tills would go through at 50% not 75%.

Wonder if you could help, yesterday the sa forgot to put my card through to collect my points. I have my receipt, if i take into store do you think they can add it that way?

I think something we can all learn from this thread is that the word "confirmed" means nothing in Boots talk!!

Also, don't forget that this same conversation happens every year without fail. "I got told there's not going to be a sale at all" "really, well I got told it will be tomorrow" "no you're both wrong I got told it'll be next week" and so on and so on! Boots LOVE to try and throw us off the scent, and that includes TELLING PORKIES TO THEIR STAFF so they don't have the right info to pass on to customers!!!

I said all along it was unlikely to happen before next Wed, and that's looking more and more likely now!

morning all, i went into both my local small branch then the large main branch and stock was still 50% off.:(
in the main branch, i spoke to and was served by the friendly MANAGER!!
i asked them and they said its DEFFO NOT TODAY BUT ITS LOOKING MORE THAN LIKELY FOR NEXT WEEK! ( THEIR EXACT WORDS)! :j:T

I DID BUY SOMETHING AT 50% OFF AND STORE MANAGER SERVED ME AND IT WENT THRU AT 50% OFF!

SO PHEW- THAT SAVES A STAMPEDE TODAY- ROLL ON NEXT WEEK! :T

No 75% off yet in Westwood Cross, but going into Margate later, so will have a look in there... Not going to buy anything @ 50% off! Would rather wait. . . Will report if it's on there !!! ps I don't work for Boots if anyone is wondering HTH.

yes they can, thats what they do if you've forgotten your card when you are there, you take your receipt and your card in and they put the points on your card.
