I hope the sale is ASAP - I can't wait that long!!

Has anyone been able to use their NO7 Voucher on the xmas make up like

I saw loads in my local but there was a sign saying it was not part of the 3 for 2 promotion but i didn't check if it was also excluded from the voucher offer as online it is included in 3 for 2.

No7 vouchers exclude gift sets so the eye palette in the link will also be excluded.

I have just got back from Boots. The sale stock seems to be disappearing from the shelves to make room for new stock (some aisles are empty and have been like that for at least 3 days) but still a lot of sale items for when the 75% sale starts. I wonder if the staff are putting away a lot of stock for themselves or returning to warehouse to sell online? There was also an aisle full of FCUK bags at 75% off, no one seems to be purchasing them. Only noticed one No7 hatbox and one No7 make-up artist collection vanity case.

The staff aren't allowed to put it aside, it's a disciplinary offence, and also they don't get discount at 75% so not much more of a saving than at 50% + discount. it's disappearing because people are buying it

I got a really nice Trevor Sorbie hair set yesterday on my points :j so free! Well worth if for the products inside plus a nice bag. Maybe they should do 3 for 2 on the sale stuff??

I also doubt they were all sold as they have been there since Boxing day, so perhaps re-distributed is my guess, or sent back to Boots for re-packaging as at 75% off would be cheaper than buying one cream alone.

For the smaller stores if they are not selling the sale stock it will most likely to sent to stores that ARE managing to sell it. The shift of stock happened alot in the two weeks running up to the 75% sale last year.

I saw this sort of thing happening so much in different stores, in Selfridges I went in to pick up a last minute gift on Xmas eve only to see several of the brands on the cosmetics counters unpacking the Christmas boxes, binning the packaging and putting the items aside- obviously to be resold or repackaged, I had half a mind to ask for the packaging as some of it looked quite cute and it was a shame just to bin it but can't help thinking the packaging was what was bringing down the cost and not the items themselves.

I guess it was only a matter or time before they did this with other stores too...such a shame

Does make you wonder though re: Lush and other stores its probably why the much hyped 75% sales never seemed to have made it this year.
