OP whilst you are waiting....

This is the thing that you installed by accident. PC Performer PerformerSoft LLC 24/12/2011 12.6 MB 11.10 You can uninstall it via the CCleaner interface straight away, then reboot.

Download, install, update and run a Quick Scan with Malwarebytes' AntiMalware. When complete, choose 'Remove Selected' if there is anything to remove and Reboot your computer.

After restart, open the program again and go to 'Logs'. Double click on the log produced for today and post the contents here.

What's the model number of your Toshiba? Starts with a P******

Nice.
I would take heed of what closed has written. You are running a single core Celeron, it will run a lot better without most of those StartUp items and we don't know how many instances of McAfee. Thinking that the machine came with a trial and then you have the BT branded version.
Perhaps if you ask him nicely, he might find the time to go through the whole list with you. You certainly don't need all of that BT rubbish.

I still haven't eaten yet.

First of all, call BT on 0800 800 150 and cancel that NetProtect Plus McAfee if you are actually paying for it. If not, just get rid.

Have you actually paid for a licence to use Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007? If not, you don't need that either.

Download and save Kaspersky Internet Security 2012 to your Desktop, but don't try to install it yet.

Then you can get started with those highlighted in bold. Start Orb > Control Panel > Programs > Click on the the one that you wish to unistall and then click on Uninstall.

Get a couple of blank DVD-R and create your Recovery Discs. You have been reminded enough times.

You can go in to CCleaner > Tools > StartUp and choose to disable all. We can re-enable them one by one to see which you would like to keep.

Once you have completed the tasks above, including calling BT, removing all traces of McAfee including using their McAfee Removal Tool. Reboot and then install Kaspersky by double clicking on the newly saved file. Once installed, activate the 30 day trial licence and see how you get on with it.

Next we'll do the StartUp list.
