£40.50 of eb*y monies to add to the pot, I've run out of things to sell now, so just the overtime at work to count on until I can think of something else!0

No weight loss again - lack of motivation to exercise and sudden yearning for chocolate!
But more savings - booked a train journey which would have been £285 for two of us and with a bit of shopping around managed to do it for £100 instead! Two stone two grand four months challenge
Start weight 12st 7lb Lost 1 :j
Money saved £650 :j:j:j0 -
The weight loss just hasn't happened due to various things. I actually put on 3lbs but have lost 2 of those in the last week after I got a grip! My bike is on for a service so I should be able to take advantage of the good weather and get out on my bike next weekend.
I've got £495 saved up. Although if I count the overpayment my previous employer gave me in my final payment from them, then I have £1995 saved up! Guess I should keep that £1500 in a high interest account until they come looking for it though!0 -

We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0

Back up to 135lbs for me.
TBH this was expected as I've had a bad cold and after a day when I felt the need of lots of hot ginger to drink (it's sugary too) I started on the biscuits. I've also been attacked by a couple of birthday cakes - yes I gave up cake for Lent but I did make an exception for birthday cake, just not realising how many people I know with Lenten birthdays. Oh, and lastly but I'm sure it's contributed: dashing from one place to another I bought a packet of biscuits to stave off hunger and have now eaten most of them.
On the good side I have otherwise been eating very healthily.
I've saved a few pence here and there on shopping (bit it's getting more expensive to buy food, isn't it?) and had some extra hours at work which I'll add at the end of the month when I get paid. The bank account is looking fatterwhich has to be a sign we're getting something right despite it taking a beating right at the beginning of the month with the trip to London. However, DH's bike was stolen recently and while he's found a replacement that he likes for all of £25, it could cost £180 to bring it up to scratch! He does use it a lot though, and it saves diesel.
This time next week is DH's job interview - so we find if he still has a job! Two out of ten posts are going, and if he's one of the successful candidates there's a two in three chance of a local job. Because of where we live, a non-local job could be a real problem with a huge commute, but so would moving to be nearer to a job. So we shall see - in the meantime plodding merrily onward.
I had plans last week which I never got round to, to join my work's discount scheme - it sounds like a no-brainer but it took me a while to work out how it fits in with my budget. Sorted that now though. There is also a bit of money saved from some lessons I couldn't go to, which is going to the mortgage - might even sort that today if I don't get distracted by a huge mound of washing (DS1 has returned from a week away).
Enough ramble from me - Bellatrix, that's a fantastic weight loss and you should be very proud of yourself! To those who haven't done as well, including me, today's a new day, let's get stuck in again.
