£7.50 saved over the last couple of days by making h/m bread and buying a top in the sales. :)

  • I've tried out a couple of exercise classes but given up because the other ladies there were all younger, thinner and fitter than me and I felt really out of place.
No weight loss again but at least I'm not putting it on!
On the money side had an £10 M&S voucher from Netflix (should have been £8 but there was a problem with the original voucher and they increased the value of the replacement) - not bad for signing up for a free months trial of Netflix - so got to watch lots of films for free as well! Thanks to the MSE email for that one.

    No weight loss.
    Recent money stuff.
15% off Ocado plus multi saves etc on D/W tablets and other stuff meant savings of £35 (all stuff that was needed too). Also found the £70 Nxt vouchers and used them to pay Nxt Directory account. I also spoke to their customer services about some charges they'd added on and they refunded £30.

Will save another £5 on shopping this week with voucher from paper but wont add it yet.

Although I am struggling to get towards the targets I am making a bit of headway. Going to try and do more walking, decorating and housework this week and see if that makes any difference with weight loss. Surely I can't eat chocolate while glossing the woodwork!

A pound down - so now I'm at my lowest since starting the challenge. :) That's even with eating a bit much on shift last night (anything to keep me going in the wee small hours). Now we'll be away for a couple of days so I must take some fruit with me and low-cal nibbles to sustain me or I will undo all the good work that giving stuff up for Lent has done.

Money - my wages have just gone in and we have finally returned some items bought a few weeks ago that weren't right. When I bought them I posted on here to see what people thought I could count as savings, long story short... another £10 to add to my signature :).

  • Ooopsie - was ill about a month ago for a couple of weeks and lost weight but when I started to eat properly again, I haven't stopped and have put on 5 lbs in 4 weeks - so annoyed with myself

Still - should focus on the positives. I have lost 10 pounds in total and am going to get back into the swing of things.

Brilliant news is that I got a massive £875 tax rebate from about 6 years ago so my savings pot is doing extremely well. Now I have that under my belt, I can breathe a bit and start spending on a gym membership again.

My advice to everyone else is that it's ok to have a few off weeks. Don't beat yourself up about it and just try and be a bit more of an :A next week.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
  • Have added some more funds to my signature total thanks to payment from sales on amazon hitting my bank and a sale on gumtree. This is definitely focusing my efforts to seriously declutter and make money from it instead of just giving stuff away. Its amazing how much value is in unwanted stuff that we just hold onto.

Well done to everyone else on your achievements and thanks to Mr Bloater for giving me the kick up the backside I needed.
