    Hi all.
I too am pretty much back where I started, albeit minus the extra 2kg Xmas weight. No that's a bit hard on myself as I still weigh about 2 1/2 kgs less but have put some on since my lightest.

I have 2 young friends of dd here while they get work experience and have taken to baking puds to make sure they're full. Still only drinking wine out and at weekends so perhaps in time the weight will come off.

I have received an invite to a focus group for £60 plus a £35 apology from B Gas to be credited to my account so another £95. So money doing well if not weight.

Other than that I think my downfall is breads, cake and any other random carbohydrates.

:rotfl:Relieved to know I'm not alone with that one. :rotfl:

So, what are we doing "right" to reach the money goal and "wrong" with the [STRIKE]dieting[/STRIKE] achieving a healthier lifestyle goal? Any ideas?

  • Lost 1 more pound :D I'm going good guns now. Healthy eating head firmly screwed on. I never want pancakes after feeding the 5000 so tonight will be another lean night.

Money saving front going badly in the wrong direction, have this gut wrenching feeling I'll have to use credit card this month :(

You're doing a lot better than I am, shower-of-roses - picture yourself striding purposefully forward with miggy trailing behind like a younger sibling who isn't old enough to join in, and you'll have the picture!

Hold out against the cc as much as you can but remember you have to live, too. The occasional step back in order to go forward, and so on. :)

  • Just caught up and toootally agree with the (lack of)weight loss! I am putting on weight, eating junk and not excercising at all... dont know why, even though I know how awful I look right now.

Not doing anything on the money front either to pay things off - just juggling things around....

Someone needs to kick me into shape - literally!

Ah Miggy, I'll grab your hand and drag you along with me :D Be afraid!!!!

I'm going to try to avoid CC abuse but I think I'll have no option. I'm fairly calm about it today, I know I'll just have to tighten the belt (hope so if I can keep the weight off) and pay it off as quickly as I can. It's a grim thought though after all this effort and juggling. At least I'm not jiggling as much and that's something to smile about :) Speaking of which, easiest curry in the world. Bung in a pan some onions and some curry powder or chillies and fry off in tiny bit of oil. Add aubergine (baked in oven whole for 20 mins and scoop out middle), spinach and/or other veg, stir in tin tomatoes and voila, healthy curry!!! It's keeping me going. Today's had potato, broccoli and sprouts in!!!

Mmh, I wonder why we all overeat and overspend? Is it a joy of life or a self abusive kinda thing? I'm not that good at deep!!!
