Well done Arsenalbarrie and Shortbird!I have had pre-menstrual food cravings all week and loads of carp still in the house, so daren't weight myself!! I am going away for the weekend with family and it's my birthday next week and a friend wants to treat me to a meal out... so I think I may have a hiatus until next Wednesday, whilst not going too mad and still exercising, and then redouble my efforts!
On the money side... managed to bank £228.18 so a nice boost on the cash front at least!! Have a great weekend everyone...0 -

I am not taking part in the challenge officially (doing my bit though) but I just had to comment on this
That is a fantastic amount so far. It is only 20th Jan so that equates to £15 per day. If you continue at that rate you will make at least £465 by the end of the month. That is so close to the target that you should be able to do it. Pat yourself on the back and keep going.
ah thanks mrsmoo looking at it like that you're right it is good i was thinking that i should be making £500/month but a lot of that was over the xmas period so no chance for money making.0 -
Did I mention I gained 8 lbs over Christmas? Oh £$$%^^$£".
On the money saving front, I've been offered a balance transfer of 0percent, I'm going for it and I estimate I'll save over 200 quid in interest. I am adding that to my signature. I'll brush over the holiday I've booked.
My next challenge is to get the cost of my broadband down.DEBT LBM-3.10.2011Total debt-6800  09.09.13-zero

Some amazing stats on here people, you are all doing brilliantly. For my part, I'm going to spend the next little while taking control of the weight again, I've worked out that I only have enough spare vigilance left to address one issue at a time - and as MIL flies in from snowy climes 10 weeks tomorrow I'm determined to rid myself of at least one of the chins that will be hanging below the fixed grin when I meet her at the airport. So I'm on a mini-mission within this mighty thread - namely the Less Chin More Grin (20 lb in 10 wks) challenge. 2lb a week doesn't sound too daunting and will achieved by a combination of not drinking (am going to still buy the wine but store it for when I'll really need it - coincidentially in 10 weeks time), running as often as I can (and not tying myself up in stress if I don't manage it), using the Wii Fit - mainly for the jogging option which is way less efficient than real running but still way more efficient than sod all, lifting dumbells and some yoga. Will weigh-in tomorrow.2011: 301k in debt and morbidly obese (DFW)
