Only found the thread last night , but im definitely in .
im working my way through all the messages and already finding people similar weight to me and i think that helps when you watch how other people are getting on , im now 11stone 9.5 as of this morning , and i KNOW i can shift some of that as its the after christmas choccies and cake and and and ,,,,,,,, well basically anything that moves wasnt safe,
but it will be interesting to see how i get on , ive been doing weight watchers for years , IT DOES WORK if you stick to it ,,,,sticking is the hard part. lol x and 2 stone from my weight is about my target weight 9 stone 9 , and ive never been able to achieve it , so im going to really comit and see if its doable in the time frame ,,,,,and i honestly think i WILL do it , i dont think ive wanted to do it before ( Hope you know what i mean ) but my weight has crept up . and i now weigh the heaviest ive ever been ,,,and no way am i going to let it take over ,,,,,,and at christmas i had already decided to make a fresh start , and then by magic i found this thread ,,its an omen ,
cash , im a very frugal person . always have been , but at the moment we are helping out our daughter who has run up a load of debt ( she was afraid to tell us ( embarrased/ ashamed) and now its going to take a while to dig her out , but we can do it , just wish shed have been brave enough to tell us sooner , no shame in not having enough , so although i havent got a target amount to save , its just an on going thing for the next few years to save everything and anything where we can , to make extra pennies , so ill read with interest what everyone is doing , and hopefully will be able to contribute a few ideas ive tried to help others ,
good luck everyone , and thanks for helping me to keep motivated0 -
Unfortunately had a small weight gain this week but am not adding it to my signature, will stay at zero weight loss until I have some losses to report.
Transferred £8.57 left in my paypal account from previous ebay sales. My running total is now £130.76 and hoping to list some stuff on ebay this weekend as its free listing.
Everyone seems to be doing really well and reading all the posts really spurs me on. Must do better.Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they're not out to get you0 -

I know exactly how you feel - we've got a fridge full of cakes, choclates and goodness knows what else - it's been tough but I've avoided bingeing so far, although I confess to the odd mini chocolate brownieSearch for Crunchy's Debt Deletion Diary... My weigh in day is tomorrow:o. So we will see what happens then.
Moll - I know what you mean about Christmas goodies hanging around:o. We have frozen all the mince pies, cakes etc. So at least I will have thinking time:rotfl:. Re the choccies we have tonnes, but our aim is to make them last til Easter. I am allowing myself 3 choccies per evening and trying to stay away from the Pr*ngles and the peanuts.
Not too much to report on the savings front payday at end of month will mean a bit more squirreling away, and I should have some money from book-keeping invoices by then as well.My finances are work in progress.Normal veiwing will resume shortly0 -

Try setting fire to a pringle (trust me - give it a go) - that'll put you off them for life :eek:Search for Crunchy's Debt Deletion Diary... Updated daily (ish...)Challenges 2012:Sealed Pot 5: #15832 Stone / 2 Grand / 4 Months: Start 02/01/12 - 0st 6lb / £1028.47 - End 01/05/120
