Frodo - I think I will be with them only a year also! I really don't tend to contact my bank, but am keeping my old account open just in case - thanks for the heads up
Firesidemaid - discipline?! :rotfl:I think once I am in credit all round I make look into this! Or the whole transfer to halifax every month idea!
Wow if I did everything I could do this 2k will be made no problem!!
No spending again this weekend.
Missed gym again today - went Fri weighed myself, now 15st 8  shocking behaviour - need a kick up the @rse!!!
JCG x0 -
I nearly forgot to weigh myself  I have lost 1.25lbs so am now at 12st 3.75
Weight loss this week has been down to portion control and cutting down on snacks. My intake of fennel and detox teas has been high as displacement activity. However, with some biscuits to finish up and a few treats and wine as it was my birthday this week, it hasn't been particularly tough.
Exercise was practically non-existent until Saturday (unless a little light housework counts!), but OH gave me a garmin forerunner for my birthday (possibly as a hint I should start running again!) so this should improve. I went for a 4.11 mile walk (how sad is the 1.1) on Saturday and it turns out that even this morning's trundle to the coffee shop burned off enough calories to justify the cappucino I indulged in!
Well done to everyone who has made progress, and good luck for next week. For those who haven't made progress, hopefully the next week I'll see a change.0 -
would just like to say a quick thankyou to the people who joined in with me last night , saying noooooooo to the after christmas choccies, hope the rest of you did ok , as i didnt touch ANY ,yayyyyyyyy , kept thinking about the others trying ,,,,and it worked, think the idea of a NCD ( no chocolate day) is a brilliant idea.
saved a fortune today as the central heating boiler broke , hubby repaired it , thus saving us a fortune on call out fees and parts.0 -
how do you know what happens if you set fire to a Pringle?
I heard it done on the radio so had to give it a try - every time I'm tempted in the shop I think back and picture it burning away - unbeleivable fat content!
12 more hours OT today - an extra £125.16 earned. OK, maybe earned is pushing it since I've got time to be on MSE whilst 'working', but you get my drift...
Walking is coming along well - did about 5 miles in the Malvern Hills yesterday, less than I would've liked but a) It was cold, b) It was hilly so more exercise than walking along flat roads, and c) I think I've plled a muscle in my leg so easing off for a few days.
1.8 miles to work this morning, and 5.5 miles home this evening, and I intend to weigh in tonight so with a bit of luck I'll have lost a little bit moreSearch for Crunchy's Debt Deletion Diary... Hey Crunchynutter! I've never burned a pringle but my bro showed my kids the fat content of ordinary crisps a few years ago. He put them on the bar-b-que and wow, it was amazing to see. As you say, high fat content and should be enough to put us off eating them (regularly at least!).Sealed pot challenge no 1521
