Hello everybody,
Realise I can't be added to the spreadsheet but would love to join in as I need all the support I can getespecially in the weight department.
I somewhow need to limit the time I spend online/watching TV and actually move, I barely walk anymore!! Has nybody ever found any good anti-procrastination tools that successfully limit their use of the internet?
Anyway, starting today and finishing on 8th May, I hope to save £2000 and lose 2 stone (start: 12st 6lbs; finish: 10st 6lbs) and then get below 10st by the end of the year (hopefully!)

Down 1.5lbs this week - now 9st. 9.5lbs. Hoping all my hard work catches up with me and a bit more goes next week.
Still, am headed in the right direction which is the main thing.

Just realised I have managed to save up enough points on my subway card to get a free 6" sub (low fat one of course), so that's lunch sorted today
a saving of £2.79!
I am also going back to my taekwondo training tonight after 8 weeks out through an ankle sprain. It is only light training (rehab almost) concentrating mostly on upper body work rather than any legs because I am still sore but some exercise is better than no exercise!Free stuff is GOOD stuff0 -
Decided that I will include payments off my mortgage (the capital part obvs) and to my dad (2nd mortgage practically) in my total, so thats another £100 to add to my total from start of the month - now at £105

Jaffacakegirl, I'm aiming for mortgage overpayments too, especially since playing with the overpayments calculator!Miggy

Ooo no overpayments yet that is a distant dream! Just thought well my mortgage is a debt too, and out of the £250 I pay a month, £50 of that is now reducing my debt (the rest interest :mad:). I pay my dad every month as he paid for all the renovation to the property, which is why my mortgage is so low.
I understand what you mean tho, when I can afford I will definitely overpay!0 -
Hmmmmmmm think I'm going to leap in and join you friendly chaps and chapesses if that's ok. Not a big one for weighing, usually relying on how clothes fit, however have noticed them feeling a little tighter than I would wish just lately :cool: On hopping on the scales this morning, the reason is there in all it's glorious technicolour 10stone 12lbs :eek: I usually like to hang around 9 stone 7lbs so I will pledge to lose 1 stone 5 lbs by the end of April. This will be acheived by stopping eating c*rp esp at work and upping the walking again (got into the bad habit of using the car more and this will stop
)
Unsure if I can manage £2000 savings by end of April as have a personal target of £3000 by year end however will do my best

Feeling a little conflicted at the moment - finishing of the christmas left overs is money saving but not necessarily helpful in the weight reduction department :eek:
I always feel conflicted about this forum - lots of great tips for losing weight and saving money. Only problem is, I spend too much time reading the threads that I do less surveys and exercise!! :rotfl:6k in 2012: £4200.00/£6000.00

I've had a mini success - I went round my parents house at the weekend to help my mum put a load of junk in the loft, and came back with my sister's like-new barely used step machine! So I'm going to cancel my gym membership (saving £30/month) and use the step machine with my hand weights every evening now. I'm aiming for 1500 steps per night initially.
Also weighed myself properly on Saturday and I'm not quite as heavy as I thought. So I reckon that I could manage to just lose 1 stone as long as it means I fit into my size 8 clothes again.:www: Saving for a deposit - Target £30k by 24/03/14 (30th Birthday!) :www:
