Ran 7 miles today and also walked about 3ish miles separately hoping this burns off some of that excess weight I'm aiming to use.

Next weigh in a couple of weeks time to reassess, keep fingers crossed and hope some has fallen off

Oh no! I went ahead and opened before I had chance to read on here. Thinking I will keep my account also and come up with a plan to try and avoid using this new account for anything other than bills!

Will hopefully mean I can put £200 towards this challenge tho - in 14 weeks :p

Firesidemaid - my overdraft is currently £2250 which I have told Santander - like you said no plans to use all that but hopefully they will match! I checked the MSE guide and it looks as if arranged overdraft will have no charges at all for the first 12 months which is what made me make the decision.

if they match it and if there really are no charges for 12 months (and you can be disciplined) then withdraw 2k and either put it in a savings acc or into premium bonds for a year - you'll have nothing to lose!

That is an amazing idea! :T I'm interested now. Will have to look into it later :)

I earned a pound today found a coin yeah. I have also lost a lb in weight too. Am stunned. Isn't it silly, I never really believed that portion control would work DOH. Yet by eating less I have lost 2lb so far. Silly what we think isn't it!

The diet has gone well in the past 24 hours though I've yet to see the result on the scales. I had an hour's walk this evening too which won't have done any harm.

Money - saved £25.50 on gifts bought in the sales and £6.50 on groceries so please add another £32 to my total MrB! (Oooh, I am pleased with myself today, LOL).

This making savings business is magic! I never thought I could do challenges but here I am with some results to my name!

I am due to have surgery in 10 days time and in preparation for that I can only have milk and yoghurt for 12 days prior. This is done to enable my liver to hopefully shrink.

    Weigh in this morning 22st

Good luck with the Milk diet I lost 2 st last year with that one

  • Some great weight losses this week and lots of exercise going on... well done everyone! I am off for a walk to town and back (around 6 miles but I will take a less direct route and make it 7- 8) but will try not to spend any money!!
