  • Morning all!

I am determined to feel better today - have already walked the dogs for a bit of fresh air to sweep away the cobwebs and plan to get the following done - although I do have a houseful of visitors so some things may not happen...
    • Have a shower and wash hair using new shampoo/conditioner
    • Do a body scrub in the shower
    • Put some make up on
    • Get the dogs out for a nice brisk walk again
    • Do nails
    • Use new anti wrinkle cream - am expecting miracle results!
    • Put something nice on (am currently in tracksuit bottoms and a fleece after being out with the dogs)
    • Try not to eat my own body weight in rubbish
Right, better get in the shower and begin the transformation!

    Good Morning x
Hope you are all doing ok and lovely to read all your news.

I am feeling very sorry for myself this morning as my poor tummy has had too much festive food combined with a side-effect of my medication has had a very growly time. Anyway hoping it recedes soon. have a lovely Boxing Day xx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Good to hear you're all trying hard to find time for some fab struff.

I'm off to football in a short while but will not do usual Michelin man impression! I need to be warm but also plan on looking smart as calling in at DDs on way back. Have black trousers, black cami, red wool ballet cardigan and will add boots and another cardi for warmth then smart black hooded coat, red scarf and gloves. Off to do make up....

Back later, have a good afternoon.

Hi everyone, may I join you?

My summer solstice goal is to look great in a bikini! :D Which would mean dropping a few st and having a tummy tuck, unfortunately... But what I can do is the following:

    1. Sort out my eating (low carb, paleo) and supplements
    2. Walk to work every day, yes, even when it's cold!
    3. Do my kettlebell exercises twice a week
    4. Check out the classes in the local community centre
    5. Make more effort with my hair every morning

That's about it for now, I'm sure I'll think of more stuff soon. I must stress that the weight loss and healthy eating is primarily for health purposes, but looking good and feeling great often go together!
    Cogito, ergo sum.

:wave:Hallo ladies....... and welcome to all the newly-signed up, soon-to-be-fab-graduates, as well as any short or long time lurkers....time to come out of lurkdom and join in our collective journey!!

Hope you all had a lovely day yesterday, enjoying anything that was indulged/ tickled your fancy,( tut, tut.....I just meant along the lines of calorie heavy Christmas goodies!!!LOL), and woke up today without any vestiges of guilt about ANYTHING, so that we can get on with adjusting our mindsets towards our Summer Solstice goals!!!

Managed a wee walk this morning....haven't been out for a few days, and I was becoming a bit stir-crazy...... and although it was a bit blowy and spitting a little, it was quite invigorating, so I'm glad I made the effort.

I'm looking forward to New Years Eve with great enthusiasm, when I'll be renewing my commitment to my fabness journey........ the closing of one door and the opening of another, for many things!!!

See you all on the Summer Solstice Express!

Wow I seem abit behind everyone else. Been so busy with the xmas prep not had much time for me. Well all visitors have gone home now so having a relax and chilling for a bit.

Have been for a long walk today, longer than expected as hubby thought we could get through a field and couldnt so we had to go back the way we came. Felt very good to get out in the fresh air. My aim is to try and walk at least one day over each weekend and to get some exercise done at least 3 times in the week nights.

Tomorrow we are off to hit the sales, I want to get some new perfume, decent handcream and some face masks. And anything else a bit special just for me, (had a fair bit of money given to me for xmas - lucky girl).

Hope everyone's had a good christmas xx

    Hello Everyone

I would love to join you! Over the last couple of years I have allowed myself to slide into disarray :o. Much as I have seen the decline in the mirror things have been brought to a head by a few less than tactful comments by friends and family and it has made me realise I am not happy as I am so I need to stop whining and start doing :D.

The summer goal suits me too as I have a wedding to attend and I do not want to be the plump one lacking in style at the back, I would like to turn heads :)

Bought myself some lovely coconut butter set (fair trade too :)) from Boots sale for £5. Two women in front of me spent £300 on stuff from the sale.....I confess I walked round much of it thinking it's a lot of nothing more than tiny tiny bottles and large packaging. Clearly am getting old :o or MSE is having a very good influence on me. Not done much extra pampering, have been too tired but if I can get chance tomorrow it will be Zumba time :D
