http://www.essentialdayspa.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=6 the stickied recipe thread on this forum is where I get most of the recipes and there are loads... hundreds! The simplest vit c serum is 1/2tsp vit c powder/ascorbic acid powder dissolved in 4tsp water then add 1stp glycerin, just put it in a bottle and shake to get the powder to dissolve. Use less acid for very sensitive skin.

Would a Monday be good.
Re individual tasks - I don't set tasks as such. I just try to dream up themes and games to keep us motivated.
Sometimes I post up what treatments or exercises I've done - just to shame me into doing them - stops me slacking. By all means use that as your template if it helps.
We all tend to post up what we are doing, any new hints and tips etc. We just share our knowledge and "gee" each other along - it keeps us on the straight and narrow.0 -

'Lo everybody
Came and said hello then vanished - sorry but have been trying not to spend quite so much time attached to this old lap-top
I love the idea of a letter for each week
I think taking care of your appearence changes the way you feel as well as the way other people see you so I am really going to make an effort this year. I am very good at starting routines, just not so good at keeping them up!
I think like most people, I need to move about a bit more, eat a bit more heathily and, for me, lose a bit of weight. I have lost about half a stone this year but then got distracted and would like to lose a bit more
Something that has occured to me while I've been murking is that I never take time to enjoy any "fabbing" I do. A shower is always an early morning dash, make up is usually on but usually exactly the same, clothes get the same things worn all the time.
SO my first task for myself is to do that audit of the wardrobe and try to create some new outfits and think "spa" a bit more. I was lucky to get a Gok Wan vanity case set free with my boots points just before Christmas so that will be my pampering treat! I would also like to venture to one of those posh make up counter but not sure which would be a good one to got to. Any suggestions?
I'm not very good at remembering and commenting on lots of posts so sorry if I miss any one any time
Today I just wanted to say to LL that I read about your plans to make your DH's new room a space for you both and thought what a good idea that was. Something I might use as advice for someone I work with - I work with the elderly and sometimes one of a husband and wife needs more care.
Best go rustle up something to eat and try to avoid the choccie tin!0 -

Hi all
I would love to join you if I may. I have picked up lots of tips from you all on make up, especially about wearing perfume and now I must tackle my weight. I am going to aim to loose a minimum of 3lb a month to start with. I know it doesn't seem much but I need to set an achievable (to me) target. I go back to work on the 3rd and will try to avoid the biscuit tin!
