I confess I've slightly overeaten
but boy oh boy it was worth it
gorgeous food cooked by my mum.
Am planning on picking up some nice pamper things in the sales
H bought me the Zumba DVD set so I shall be doing a bit of this :j in the coming weeks for the summer solstice
Moisturised, used a nice body scrub in shower, moisturised my feet and accidentally put the cream for my feet on my face :rotfl: in my it's the body shops hemp cream and they are in exactly the same pot. O well if it's good enough for my feet then itsmgood enough for my face
Made the effort and wearing a nice top normally reserved for going out, in previous years it would have been just a jumper
Hope you're all having a fab Christmas :beer:I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Merry Christmas all. I made an effort and wore a nice top today and a Christmassy brooch, and lots of perfume!0

Afternoon all!
I tried to make a bit of an effort today - hair, makeup, perfume, new top etc but felt fat and frumpy
Didn't help that I've stuffed myself with too much food and feel mildly sick:o
Never mind, I did get loads of new perfumes, toiletries and moisturiser and foundation as some of my Xmas pressies. So they'll all help in the rejuvenation process I suppose.0 -
Hope you have all had a lovely day.
I have been thoroughly spoilt and have received some pampering gifts and ear-rings so my FAB routines have been noticed.
I wore my lovely dress and did my hair so felt happy,
I have also eaten loads and tummy is complaining now so back on the straight and narrow now.
Happy Christmas and God Bless xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Morning :santa2:
Yesterday I was showered, dressed, made up and perfumed by 9am. I wore leggings and a new top, then to add some festive cheer I added red socks and a green cardiAfter the mountain of food made by mr tru (and errrrmmm........ a whole chocolate orange
), all I wanted was my stretchy trousers and dressing gown :rotfl:
I had a long shower last night, I Soap & Glorified myself and felt fab. This morning my skin feels great and my feet are nice and soft. I'll be back in the shower in a bit to use some of the other new S&G things.
Bitsy, which Zumba set have you got? Probably newer than mine - I think mine's the first set he made because he can't speak English in itI was wondering how often you're going to use it, maybe we could do it 'together'?
Bulletproof0 -
Beto (think thats his name speaks English, it's the one off those sets that you used to only be able to buy via an "infomercial" :rotfl:).
Was thinking at first doing it every other day, need to fit it around the kids but I'd love a zumba buddyI have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

pops head round door - any room for another little one- well a rather big one who needs to get her finger out and start making the most of her self!!!!! never seem to have "me" time for running behind everyone else and end up looking a mess for months and then do a blitz on my hair, wear makeup for a couple of days and then fall back into the no time for me scenario!! am sure you are all too familiar with that. so today is the start of me time - even half an hour a day. between today and tomorrow -
1)highlight hair,
2)defuzz (think hairs on my leg are longer than o/h's yeugh!)
3)eyebrows
4)dig out makeup bag and fill with everyday quick fixes
5)eat healthy today - no alcohol - skin feels like old leather and itchy with it being so dry
6)find straightners and use instead of fuzzy hair!
overall target for me is a 20lb loss -
good luck everyone - we're worth it!skintbint x

Morning all, is there room for another one.
I have been trying to wear make up more often and smarten myself up, but I do find myself back in my scruffy leggings and sweatshirt as if by default.
I could do with losing a few pounds and trying to get some regular exercise.
Merry Christmas to you all, I'd better go and finish making this cheesecake and then try and make myself look glam for a trip round the sales with DD.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0 -
