Is anyone else recording their fab activities anywhere else like a blog? Photos of your new nails or make up? Are we allowed to share them(I doubt any of us have 10000000 followers and are making money off them!)?
I've started one as I've realised sometimes I make a face mask, recipe or do a workout that I really like but forget to write it down so I never do it again!

I have a blog but um.....not sure about putting my mug on there for all to see. Not sure my make up skills re up to that :o

Went swimming....how bad is pool water for your skin :( I put on two lots of moisturiser and my face still came out feeling drier than a dry thing. Did about 14 laps up and down the large pool so feel pretty good about that.

there are some bonkers people around but a compliment is a compliment ay! frump to fab and cluttered to clean? i know i should join in the no more toiletries thread too. after my exams i might make a store cupboard type spreadsheet of everything i need to use up
callisto could you book in to have your makeup done at a counter conveniently on the morning of the wedding? or if time's too tight get them to do it when you go shopping and right down how to copy it. sorry about the job but staying positive is good :D
bitsy if you have a really thick moisturiser or oil use it on your face after swimming if you can make the trip home without any makeup on. i'm sure there are some protective creams to put on your face before swimming like with your hair, maybe just some oil would do?
Sorry if bolding annoys anyone, it's just something I picked up off the OS boards when you're asking someone a Q and want to be sure they see it.

There seem to be people coming over for revision sessions everyday and I don't wanna get caught by half a dozen people from uni washing up wearing hot pants and a fleece with greasy hair again  I've put on some mascara and perfume and am wearing okay-ish lounge clothes.

i dumped a load of Vit E cream on before I went but aside from the grease they apply before swimming the channel I am not sure what would stay on. And I do make the trip home without mke up on!!!!

As for blog addreses I fear any post listing them all will be deleted as its considered self promotion. You can however link it to your homepage in your user profile. If you click on user name and they have a homepage generally its a blog. thats how I keep mine ;) Look if you want but theres no fashion in there what so ever. I'd love to but TBH I don't buy enough stuff to warrant it, CS re pretty slim pickings in my area, don't see many fabulous buys generally :o not to mention cant really spare the cash to keep buying clothes.

bobbi brown counters do bridal, mother of the bride and bridesmaid make up. you have to go to the counter but i remember it involved a practise session beforehand and one on the day. they are different prices depending on which one you get. i can't remember if its redeemable against products or if you just pay outright thou.

    Afternoon all

Have been trying to be fab but not sure I'd ever want to share pictures!:o

Did have a proper sunday morning maintenance today as my boys - big and small - went out. Scrubbed, showered, shampooed, de-fuzzed the fuzzy bits and drenched them in moisuriser, hair dryed (not claiming any style but will do til I straighten it for work tomorrow!):T

Have started the ironing mountain and now a bit of time to catch up after dinner!

Re the Use Up the Toiletries Stash!! I started reading through this as I thought I had quite a bit of stuff licking around but then I realised I am a mere ameteur in hoarding lotions and potions!! Where do you put it all!!!!!

Mind you, I read that, shook my head and then went to try to find my desk under the collected heap of craft stash!!! I think I can see where my weakness is!

Need to go and sort my nails out though! Spent ages apinting them last night - a beautiful dark green colour - buit by 10am they were all chipped and horrible! I think I'll take it all off and just put a strengthening base coat!:(

Still not much fabbing for me today sadly! Still trying to plough my way through my college essay! Popped out with OH to local retail park earlier for a break and got myself a nice perfume set for half price at Boots and got it with a xmas gift voucher and got another £5 off No7 voucher!

I'm hoping to get enough work done to have an hour of fabbing later!

    Hope everyones well!

I've just pinched this from the Grabbit board- may be of interest to some of us?
Thank you to the original poster.

    Clinique Mascara Exchange
Told at the Clinique Counter in Boots in Cambridge that the Mascara exchange starts next weekend until the end of January. Take any old mascara and they will exchange it for a same size. Don't know if this will be all Clinique counters or just Boots. Also if you purchase any product you can book a free lip or eye makeover, bookable until end of Feb.

just in case anyone is interested, this months ELLE says next months out on the 1st Feb has a free Soap & Glory mascara worth a tenner with it. mag is £3.80 so if you need a new mascara you'd save some money.
